This should be played every 4th of July and on Memorial day. When Chance says you did not desert me my Brothers in Arms I'm sure many soldiers feel that way even though they shouldn't. Thanks for the shout out. You pronounced my last name better then most. Lol
this is a masterpiece of theirs....the arrangement is originally from a Finnish group called Club for 5, and Tim, got permission to see their arrangement, an he then had it tinkered with to fit their talents. It was originally a song for the group Dire Straits back in mid-1980's written after the UK/Argentina Falklands War that only lasted about 6 weeks but was devastating win for the UK and a humiliating defeat for the military junta government in Argentina and it led to it's downfall in just a few more months and the restoration of democratic government in Argentina.
This is such a masterpiece by them. Hauntingly beautiful. Yes, Tim’s bass and Chance’s baritone was perfect. Loved their low notes, loved the echoes. Tim and Chance looked ghost like in the windows. So well done. Good reaction Hatley!😀
I have always liked this song by Dire Straits but think Home Free did an excellent version of this song. Tim's natural breathy bass was awesome along with Chance's smooth baritone & loved it when all the guys were doing 5 part harmonies. Who would believe humming could sound so good. They gave it a very solemn feeling. These guys are my favorite a cappella group out there.
This is such a beautiful, haunting rendition of the Dire Straits original. Insofar as their harmonies, there are lots of live (audience taken) videos on the 'net and they're as good or better than the studio videos. Their live version of "9-5 beatbox breakdown" is terrific (they alll beatbox) and the live version of "Ain't Going Down 'Til the Sun Comes Up" is astonishing. Love from Canada.
This song is absolutely bone-chilling.. It is so beautiful...God Bless the USA and bless those fallen who fought for our freedom.. Home Free did the song Beautifully... Love Home Free Love my Boys 💓💓💓🏡🆓🏡🍟 you need to react to the them doing the cover for the Doobie Brothers Listen to the Music.. all-time favorite by them
@@HatleyHour I cannot wait to see your reaction to this song.. this song gives me goosebumps thinking about it.. especially Adam Rupp the beatboxer he is just freaking killing it he is insane on this song.. and also the Garth Brooks Ain't Goin Down til the Sun Comes Up another song that the beatboxer kills it on he definitely deserves the title Freak of Nature..
One of my favorites, thought I love all their music. This one always touches me right in my heart! at the 4:13 mark, I get goose bumps from their harmonies! Tim's deep note at the end of that particular point, WOW and I love how he puts his hand down towards to the ground as if to say "this is where my voice is going" The BEST line in any song "we're fools to make war on our brothers in arms" HOW TRUE Nice reaction.
I always liked the Dire Straits version, but I only got really interested in this song through Home Free. Although I have to be honest I think the guitar playing is phenomenal Yes, this version of Home Free will send shivers through your entire body! This is so emotional. Beautifully sung by Tim and Chance, but the background and harmony of Adam, Rob and Austin is also so beautiful. It sound like a choir or actually a kind of church organ . And the whole setting of the video is just amazing. Simple but with so many details that makes it so profound
Thank you for pulling the boys back on. I would like you to do a reaction to the Butts Medley. I believe that you will really enjoy this one . Thanks again for your reactions. This is a masterpiece of harmonies.
Hi my friend home free are absolutely amazing and have done so many great songs a young gentleman taking UA-cam by storm is ren -hi ren this video has had 3 million views in 2 weeks and it is pure genius worth a look many thanks love and respect from the UK 👍👍👍👍👍👍🌟😀😀 amazing channel 👍
I agree Home Free is a talented group of men and I actually just did a reaction to that video on my channel of Ren - hi ren and he is something special!
Good react! But, if I must get picky, it would be about the flag on your cap. If it is a Texas flag, then the red should be below the white. As far as the HF guys, always good stuff!
Thank you 🙏🏾 It’s a NC flag that’s where the Culture brand is based out of and the 7 represents the number of completion, as well as the amount of letters in culture.
@@HatleyHour My bad. Didn't know for sure, so that's why I just mentioned it, but not as real criticism. (I'm from Texas, so that's why I saw it right away). Now I know!
This was a Masterpiece. Powerful tribute to fallen soldiers who never made it home.

They are simply the best. They can sing anything and kill it. The beat boxer is world class. Any video will be awesome from them.
You notice there is no beatboxing all singing. Adam is magical and has a wonderful singing voice Too.
This gives me chills every time I hear it ... these guys are masters of harmony !
This is such a great tribute to the members of the military that served for us. Their harmonies are so very awesome. Love your reaction!

Thanks! This is a pure masterpiece. 🖤🍟
When Chance was singing, the blend of the rest of Home Free sounded like an organ.
Yes! And those final 2 chords "Amen "

They can convey such emotions thru their music! Thanks for reacting to this one. ❤️
If you haven't done so already, check out their version of "How Great Thou Art"!

Agree to the church organ sound. Those last 2 cords are like the final "Amen "

The chords in this one always remind me of a pipe organ.
