- The K-Slim is a cheaper alternative to buying a K-Mini or K-Mini Plus but you get what you pay for. I bought both of them and I'd only buy one of them a second time and in this video I tell you why.

I don't see any reason why anyone would choose the K-mini/mini+ over the K-Slim unless they are needing it to be portable. The tiny water reservoir on the mini alone is enough to disqualify it from serious consideration for anything more than occasional use. I have the K-Slim and really like it.

Not a problem for me, I own 1 K-Mini and 1 K-mini Plus. I use one 10Oz tumbler to measure the quantity of water, brew my coffee in the K=Mini or the Plus and then pour it to a 20Oz tumbler. I pour another 10Oz to brew 2nd time. 20Oz done! Very fast brewing n simple.
I bought mines this week at target only for $79.00 bucks at the same price of the mini. I have to say this is a great review. Had it not been the same price as the mini I would have not bought it. But I was contemplating on buying the plus. Thank you for sharing with us this great review.

I think we all truely love coffee regardless of what size of cup we make.
I like the idea of water to coffee grind contact time and also the idea of the strong button. I have the smart plus but as a second, cheaper machine, what makes a better cup, the mini plus or the k-select? The only drawback to me would be the mini plus’s minimal reservoir. I appreciate your feedback.
I brew a 12oz cup of coffee every day out of a K-Slim and it still tastes absolutely fantastic. I don't know why you're saying you shouldn't, but whatever.
So the main pro on the k-mini plus is the strong setting? And being able to add only 6oz of water to make a small cup?
Yes, that and the easy ability to clean the water reservoir at the sink. If you don't care about any of that then definitely spend a bit less on the plain Mini instead of the Mini Plus or the K-Slim.
@@TopOffMyCoffee Totally understand the strong setting. However, options are only a plus on these machines. Only one oz setting is extremely off putting, UNLESS you're strictly using it to travel around with.
6Oz will not brew most of the time, you need 8oz to brew every time
I only want something that small and portable that fits in our camping trailer to make hot chocolate for the kids. Probably for 8 ounce cups. Any recommendations?
Get the K Mini or K Mini plus. The plus has storage for 9 pods, a strong button and removable water reservoir. Worth it for me.

That’s actually studio gray. It from certain angles looks like turquoise but it isn’t. On camera it isn’t as accurate.

Got k slim my husband likes hot coffee has put in microwave after not hot plus get a lot of grounds do you think it’s defective
Are these worth it because I looked at reviews and some looked bad.
I have a K-Elite and K-Slim, both bought from 2nd hand thrift stores. They both work remarkably well. Just make sure you take the time every few months to clean and descale your keurig's and you're good to go.
Brian, have you ever used the iCoffee machine? I have it and like the the spinning water-injector. These are no longer made.
Amazon Solimo French Roast with a 12oz brew is excellent. Very robust.... Used to use Pete’s Major Dickinsons, but Solimo is way better...
I use the SOLIMO Dark Roast. Very happy with the brand.

@@dingdongdaddy589 I will give the French Roast in SOLiMO brand a try. I really do think that SOLiMO makes a very good tasting coffee in the kcups. Like I said earlier, I have tried almost every popular brand out there, and many of the off brands. There is a reason that now I just automatically reorder the same kind month after month.. Whenever I have impulsively brought home something my husband always comments that he doesn't like it near as well as the SOLIMO. I think it's just as good as Doughnut Shop, Starbucks, Green Mountain etc.. Cheers right back at you! ☕ ☕

@@dingdongdaddy589 i will let ya know. Actually I am pretty sure I used to order the French Roast, and the Breakfast Blend from SOLiMO. But then I got a notification that the price increased on them. So I browsed all the kcups that were available for subscribe and save to check out the price ranges. The reason I started buying the SOLIMO Dark Roast is because the price did not increase on it. Plus I liked what the reviews had to say about about the Dark Roast. Most of the reviews were very positive from people who seemed to be coffee snobs. Lol. I figured if that many people took the time to write good reviews about the Dark Roast then it would probably be good enough for me. I have for sure tried several different French Roasts from other brands too. Because French Roast is actually my flavor of choice. But it's been awhile since I have had French Roast, since I am happy with the Dark Roast.. So maybe it's time I add it back to my subscribe and save along with the Dark Roast.. I like having a couple different ones on auto ship and rotate between them for some variety.
Actually I haven't looked at any of the kcup choices from Amazon for quite some time now. Will definitely check out what the choices/prices are now days. I used to always buy several different "flavored" coffees too. I used to enjoy Hazelnut, Carmel and even the Blueberry flavored coffees. But once I started looking for a brand that offered 80 count boxes I found out that I really don't like flavored coffees nearly as well I prefer a straight up, regular cup of coffee as long as it has a nice bold flavor that isn't terribly overpowering. There used to be one called Rev that I liked too. I think that's what it was called.. Personally I like to taste my coffee, and don't enjoy the kinds that taste weak. Amazon also had a brand with a mesh kcup instead of the plastic kcups. Right now I can't remember what the brand was. But I REALLY LIKED the way those kcups were made with mesh like material instead of plastic. I felt like they worked out very nicely in Keurig and seemed so nice and fresh too. Those are probably the brand that I would say is maybe slightly better tasting then SOLiMO. They were also better designed kcups since they didn't have plastic bottom to the kcup. But those ended up getting pretty pricey gradually. Which was another reason I went with SOLiMO.
I really do think SOLiMO is a all around nice brand with a fairly decent price point. I feel like with all this coffee talk, I should be a spokesperson making commercials for kcups. 😂😂🤣🤣
Tried to get the Plus today, but Target said it was on recall, so I got the K-Slim. Let's see how it goes....

Great video! My wife did not like the strong brew plus the K Plus made a "goat" sound for at least several minutes after finishing which annoyed her. We are going tiwth the K Slim to see how that goes.

K mini is junk the coffee is weak and stopped working after 6 months ☹️
If you want bigger cup coffee( over 8 oz ,you need to use 1 pod per 8 oz cup),coffees just richer fuller cup . I find myself using strong button and 8 oz cup , over 8 oz u are drinking water i agree.
