- People asked for just the sounds of the Ford Model A engine while driving, so today we are driving to Carson City, Nevada for the Northern California Regional Group event in our 1931 Ford Model A Sports Coupe.
We are on HWY 88 which is a beautifully forested drive.

One of my favorite memories is when I was about 7 or 8 and the local MAFCA went over some mountains here in Va. They made the best sound as they pulled the grades! This was back in the 70's before OD and speed parts were widely available! Try taking a video riding behind another A, the sound is something to behold!

It's said that a lot of people moving out of California, but it's not for the weather or the scenery. Looks like the trip up to one of the mountain sites, Thanks for the ride along.
Yes, people are moving out of California like crazy and we are even trying to figure out if we can also, government is taxing us to death and making the most ridiculous rules and laws that are only for those of us who work hard. California as far as land goes is gorgeous and if we do end up moving, we will miss being here very much, but it’s getting hard to afford to live here anymore.

Here in Kentucky, we have had a large growing number of X California residents to come. This week we met a 4 generation family, 3 sister’s retired here. I have a small business and meet with a lot of folks and the X California’s have been very nice people, they are just sick of the Gruesome situation. You folks would be welcomed in KY, Ken.
What a nice way to spend the day. The A is gorgeous & purring right along. Hood paint is amazing. Outstanding job from them. Reflections off the paint says AOK job. The view out of this car, looking out over the hood, is amazing also. Has a wonderful & safe trip home. P.S. That color with Wimbleton White stripes on a 1967 427 Cobra would be just perfect.

Tina & Paul, such a great drive in a beautiful state. Sadly the politicians are ruining California, we spent 2 weeks out there in 2008 and was amazed by the scenery. Would like to come back one day, just to see the parks and the trees, not tree hugger. But the forest out there are fantastic. Ken in KY.
Yes, this is truly one of the most amazing states as far as places to go/see and things to do, the government politicians and crazy laws and rules they are making is making it almost unbearable for those of us who live good lives and work hard…they also tax us to death here! We can never get ahead, we work harder and harder so we can save and do more with our lives and then they raise everything and we’re right back where we started, it’s truly disgusting.
Beautiful scenery, beautiful, car, beautiful friends! What else could one ask for in life! You know we shut ourselves up in our little habitats, and don't take the time to enjoy the BEAUTIFUL planet we are so blessed to be living on! Thanks for sharing!

Would you two ever do one of these ASMR videos with a shift/cab view? would love to see the shiftwork and overdrive in use along with the drive. us car guys love that stuff could watch for hours. I've seen the overdrive breakdown video on your husband's channel but haven't seen one done as asmr like this. maybe a mounted camera behind y'all?

Such a great sound; that Mitchell overdrive is such a great unit. A few months ago I saw a late Model T hauling a$$ on a road such as this one by the Florida keys; I wonder if those Mitchell overdrives work on those as well.

You’re so awesome!! Thank you so much for you comment, made my morning! Paul was basically staying in 3rd for a lot of it and using the overdrive for shifting 😁 Once we got to higher climbing he had to start shifting more, it took more driving video in different areas, so later I may post those also 💕

Thank you, it was so beautiful! On flats our average speed has been 55- 58 mph, in the areas that are posted 65 , we still keep it about 58 at top speed.

Hi! This is Paul’s Model A that we’re in for this trip, he doesn’t have a synchronized transmission in his, but he does have a Mitchell overdrive 😁🥳

👋How do you keep the wind shield wiper from breaking off🤔👀👍
It is resting again the windshield like most windshield wipers. The motor for the wiper is mounted on the windshield frame and is located in the front of the driver but out of the driver's view.
How do you have the camera/phone mounted?
