Explaining the John Deere eHydro and problem/fix on my tractor

I promised I'd explain the eHydro transmission once I had some time with it. Well, here it is. A very basic user explanation of it's features and how they work.

Good explanation of the Speed Match, Load Match, Motion Match, Auto Throttle and Auto Cruise Control functions Pat. I read about them in my owners manual but have yet to use all of these features. I've mainly been using Motion Match and Auto Throttle on my rig for loader & backhoe operations.

Thanks Frank, it’s been a little trial and error figuring most of these out. The manual doesn’t state that feature A doesn’t work with feature B and so forth.

My granddad was a case guy last tractor he bought would have been in the seventies for his nurseries and he would say the more complicated you make the plumbing the easier it is to stop up the drain

That’s the truth, I just wish the manual would be more clear. I’ve had to figure a lot of this out by trial and error.

Hi Patrick great video you do a great job I enjoy watching your videos I’m glad you’re learning about your tractor but I do want to tell you this my transmission on my 2038R I don’t care if it has two ranges it’s pretty smooth I’m not going to lie about that but great job you’re a good friend and I have learned a lot by watching your videos I am a pretty smart mechanic I can pretty much figure it out most of the time 👍
