The Last C&O-Signalled Mainline: CSX's Big Sandy Subdivision

Although a few branches in the coalfields are still guarded by C&O signals, only one mainline remains. Running from Catlettsburg, KY, east, and down to connect with the former Clinchfield, many coal, manifest, and other trains ply these rails daily. Here is the video I have taken on two different trips this summer!

I thought that there was some FRA rule which mandated PTC and if you didn't run PTC speeds were limited to 25 mph.

I see that they're taking out Sidings, including the double track through Thelma. Will the Signal Bride stay there or are they going to replace it?
