Looks like you left the choke on. After it starts, open the choke all the way. Initial chain adjustment isn't important. You'll see how loose it is after one ride. It will stretch and stretch some more. Chains are a pain.
Good eye. I had some carb trouble with this bike initially. I had to leave it partially choked to keep it running as you see here. Then the next day I saw the carb was leaking gas. I took the bowl off and reseated the gasket and that fixed both problems. Thanks for the tip on the chain. This is my first ever "motorcycle" haha
