Your orchid looks very thirsty. I have mine in a terrarium on a heat mat. My humidity is very low in the winter. I also keep it surrounded by sphagnum moss. I look forward to seeing you do the repot.
Hi Ina. I have only owned the regular ludisia discolor type for about 6 months or so now but it’s not doing so well. I used to have them growing like weeds when I had my green house and they lived on the very bottom shelf under my orchids. With my current little plant it looks like it’s growing then starts to get root rot or something and I need to restart it again. I’m fed up with it and feel like just letting it go, but that’s not in my nature when it comes to plants. I’ve kept this one covered to create a moist environment but maybe too moist, who knows. Any suggestions would be appreciated, but I’m going to try it in a prop box under lights and see if that helps.
Is it growing under growing lights? It could be the mix or maybe temperature, since you had it before in a different environment?! I am sorry to hear about your orchid
Hi Ina, i love these but lost mine. 😐 Could you possibly link the sticks that you use in your media to control thrips please as i can't seem to find them. Or maybe let me know the active ingredient in them? Thank you so much.
Hi Julia, I looked on Amazon and it looks like they are not selling it anymore 😕 They are called Celaflor stick pesticide. I hope you can find them locally again. Really sorry ...

Hi, I bought mine in a garden center in London. You can find it online pretty easily. I've seen some for sale on Ebay and Etsy. I hope it is helpful😊
