What is your location? Local temperature plays vital role in blooming as I haven't yet succeeded though orchid plants have survived in my location Dehradun (Uttrakhand)_

Strange but Dehradun should be perfect for orchid , however definitely local temperature has vital role which i already mention place like Rajasthan Delhi and Kolkata is quite difficult for orchid to bloom . I think you must try to experiment with different kind orchid plants . 👍👍

yea you can but too much rain can create fungus into root better keep your orchid pot near window or balcony while raining ,try to avoid direct rain fall. Make sure rain water should not stay into pot .
