- We are installing the pond liner for the Waterfall at this point. Correct placement of the overlay and back fill is critical to your success. The waterfall will be a focal point and provide filtration, aeration and beautiful audio in the backyard.
Did you join the water fall liner to the pond liner ?

I all your years of doing ponds do you think more people these days are doing ponds and water features than ever before .Maybe because our world has become more stressful than before .I grew up with a pond but never had time and after retiring in 2004 I finally said I need one in my life to relax with
sissy murphy That is a very good question. I believe the hobby is growing and expanding. Certainly the level of stress in day to day life is growing and could play a roll in some of the growth.
Have you ever used as timelapse to record construction? I think it'd be a cool way to do it. (so long as you're working efficiently, unlike me lol).
+tim3854 We have played with some time lapse video over the years. We don't use it nearly enough. Maybe we can work some TL video into some videos in 2016. Thanks for the suggestion.!
This pond must have costs like 60 grand to build. The effort and attention to detail is mind boggling

On the outside edge where the liners overlap, you have the waterfall on top, pond underneath right?? How to do the edge treatment when you have the overlapping, which one, how, where, and how to make sure water stays inside the fall liner? I can't find a video showing
I know the perfect pond gone wrong for you actually there was 5 on the commercial property they filled one of them because I got to be too messy without a shimmer and proper filter they all leak one even has 2 concrete retaining walls to hold the water up the hill. Only in Martinez California
Hello. Can you explain why you have 2 liners (+ the underlayment). I always believed 1 liner + underlayment were all what I should have.
I've watched these a bunch of times... but... they didn't use two liners... one liner and the black underlayment.
Maybe you meant the liner for the waterfall... It's just easier.
Enjoying all your fine videos , in the proses of filling and back filling. I was hoping to create a more vertical edge in my pond by
adding sand behind the liner as I filled with water but turned into a giant bulge in the pond. I see I will have to start adding stones in the pond first. Just a tip to your viewers...don't over excavate.
