- We made our own DIY Ghostbusters trailer for Ghost Tours of NYC. We shot the Ecto1 thrashing down New York Streets, we filmed at the iconic firehouse. We created our own firehouse interior and fought off a ghost. We had traps, we had proton packs we had ghostbusters. But when we uploaded it people lost their ****. And I accidently fooled the internet into thinking that it was a real Ghostbusters Trailer.

Hi George! Right now the plan is to keep the original Ecto the 84 - the new Ecto being built will probably be frozen empire!
Great video, but I notice the car looks like the frame is out of sorts. the back looks like to is pulling to the left.
It looks like this in the wide shot for some reason - but the frame is actually totally fine. I think the ladder and other additions give the ecto an ‘uneven’ silhouette.
@@ExperienceExplorersI noticed it at 1:15 if you look at the other cars and then look at the front tires then look at the rear it looks like the rear is tracking out to the right. Camera tricks...
It’s had a new rear end since then so that might have fixed it!

I never realized how annoying that siren is😅But then it’s so memorable that you can kind of withstand it just because it’s Ghostbusters no other reason if anybody else had that siren on the car we would all demanded to be discontinued but not when it’s on the Ghostbusters

Yeah it’s a great car. Someone else mentioned this - I think it looks like this because of its uneven silhouette with the pipes and ladder - it’s also had some work done since then. In person it’s all good 😊

I was just at the firehouse a couple days ago and they had the sign hanging from the pole.
