I'm a beginner. I've painted a few icons with acrylics before but I'd like to begin using Egg Tempera. I've read that acrylic gesso should not be used with egg tempera. Is there a ready made sizing available or must I make it from grounds? I've read about Chalk Ground and Sinopia Casein Gesso. Is there a different product you would suggest and do you have a video on preparing panels? Thank you and your work is inspirational!
