This theme really suits the Republic. You can really hear the Republic's struggle in here. The Republic has endured through thousands of years, but it is always a constant struggle to maintain their way of life. The Sith always come back, and they wreak havoc on the galaxy, and the Republic often gets blamed for it's inability to stop all the carnage.
Well, to be fair, democracy cannot protect itself or its citizens like an Empire can. Safety is the price of freedom. Men understand this, women do not. They always trade freedom for safety, not understanding that a life in chains is not a life worth living.

It’s songs like this that make me love the old republic era. I have always loved it more than any other part, with all the Jedi and Sith dukeing it out. I don’t care if its cannon or not. The events of SWTOR are my favorite Star Wars content

Before I ended up hearing the OST, I honestly thought 4:14 onwards WAS the entire Coruscant theme simply because pretty much every Republic character coming off their opening chapter ends up with that beautiful music coming into the Senate the very first time (and again, and again...not that I mind!).
It's sad to think Star Wars is moving away from the prequels now. As exciting as it is to look to the future, I will fondly miss the countless characters that filled this Star Wars timeline and brought us so much entertainment over the years.
While I think the prequel *era* brought a lot of great stuff to the Star Wars universe, the prequel films themselves were very poorly-made films, and that, unfortunately, sours most fans' opinion of the era as a whole.
George wanted to expand the universe to show what he really meant by 'The republic' and 'jedi knights'. Lets be honest, the originals weren't great either, they had possibly one of the lowest budgets in film history (for films that had such an impact on society), but for some reason people liked them, and literal teddy bears winning against a trained army of soldiers. To him, it was more about 'finishing star wars' than making movies. Internet trolls from 4chan, 9gag, reddit, etc, that pretended to be 'diehard fans' didn't particularly help the prequels either.

Most notably the score that plays at the start of the film right before Anakin and Obi-Wan talk in the elevator. It sounds to me that he took the idea of that cue and developed it into an amazing theme!
I am not trying to bash you or anyone in this comment section, but how do any of you all think this track and "Departure from Coruscant" are the same? All I hear are the same instruments and maybe one or two similar bars with similar notes, but it is still distinctively different. In fact, I think this track is more noticeable than "Departure from Coruscant", which I forgot about tbh.

Aww Coruscant, I enjoy being in the heart of the galactic republic in the old republic. I also really enjoy this soundtrack, it fits well with the planet and doing things on Coruscant. And man, the Senate building, just the view to getting in there is just cool. The Justicars also somewhat stuck out to me as an interesting group to fight against. And for some reason, I seem to keep remembering, "Name's Luran Gonthor, president of Gonthor industries." Although it may not be all that good, it's still cool seeing the Jedi Temple ruins on Coruscant, fighting the empire and sith in there was fun, can't wait to go back to Coruscant!!!
Dude Coruscant is my favorite planet in the whole game. I think my favorite zone is the Black Sun Docks, with The Works as a close second. Just... the view in the initial area, and the vast expanse below you the entire time... MMM.
If I were making a new Star Wars project, I'd hire the composer(s) from this game, because they did a phenomenal job of recapturing John Williams' style and creating something new.

I really wish these tracks were chopped into their constituent parts. They feel very distinct and the game even uses parts of them as different songs (like bits of The Occupation of Balmorra and The Mandalorian Blockade).
This game has the musical scenescape that will totally take you into the universe of Star Wars, envelop you in your character's leveling experiences and make you grow somewhat attached to the character you make like no other game will. Beautiful scores.

@NickyVdln You are essentially describing the difference between a lineal quest-based RPG and a sandbox game. Eve is a sandbox game. This game is not horrible, even with game mechanics that are similar to RIFT, WOW, etc. TOR guides you along content in a lineal path (Bioware's method is what makes the game shine). TOR lets you experience its content in a dynamic way (with voice acting, user input to change quest objectives, and a very 'real' feel to its dynamic storytelling).

feel sorry for you lot who've ordered from places like amazon, you should have ordered via origin and just download from there, i already have it downloaded and ready to go, i just need my email saying what date i gain access, for all you getting physical copies, well you should have expected problems with it being so close to christmas, postal delays n all that, much easier to just download it to your machine instead of buying the physical copy, although the CE shouldnt be delayed

Excellent Music for an Amazing Game
@MrDiddydodd so why is it so sad ? we all chillin to this music, just waiting until we can start playing, its gonna be epic. its gonna be a star wars christmas!
@Brady2k10 Those who pre-ordered a physical copy can still download the game for early access and play it just like you. At least they'll have something tangible to go with their game.

From 4.15 onwards I imagine Moscow in early 20th century. Socialism has just sprouted and the first snow is falling. people are going to work, adjusting to the new changes in their lives. The city is beautiful but the music ominous.

@sweetypie000 it was $60 for the standard version in the U.S. and it still is.... dunno if you were looking at the deluxe version... it sounds like it.
@NickyVdln You are essentially describing the difference between a lineal quest-based RPG and a sandbox game. Eve is a sandbox game. This game is not horrible, even with game mechanics that are similar to RIFT, WOW, etc. TOR guides you along content in a lineal path (Bioware's method is what makes the game shine). TOR lets you experience its content in a dynamic way (with voice acting, user input to change quest objectives, and a very 'real' feel to its dynamic storytelling).

its so sad that i find my self chiling out to this game soundtrack, i beleive this song plays in the background on corusant in the game (i played the beta a couple of weeks ago i seem to recall this was playing).
i can't wait. i just played KOTOR and KOTOR II all over again!

@sweetypie000 Yes, i played Black Ops after I parted with my money..., and i payed the whole amount in advance for swtor plus the $5 gamestop charges to preorder the game (i hate that place, but i have nowhere else to go). So it cost me MORE than Black Ops and i found it was indeed worth it more...I preordered two days after swtor preorders became availiable... so yeah
feel sorry for you lot who've ordered from places like amazon, you should have ordered via origin and just download from there, i already have it downloaded and ready to go, i just need my email saying what date i gain access, for all you getting physical copies, well you should have expected problems with it being so close to christmas, postal delays n all that, much easier to just download it to your machine instead of buying the physical copy, although the CE shouldnt be delayed
4:14 is so familiar it plays when you go to the senate tower I want to go to courscant so Bad even im about 10 levels higher than is recommended for that place I just love it!

@TheHmk17 im not gloating about it, its a lesson, with christmas so close now, all these sites amazon, ebay etc etc are selling alot more, but the postal services cant deliver the stuff quick enough, they cant keep up with the demand, i know this, which is why i just downloaded mine instead of waiting for it in the post, its common sense really, christmas = mad postage and everyone panicking which causes delays, problems etc, anyway, im alright, if you dont wanna take this advice fine
