Shout out for actually giving a decent amount of time to the MotoGP round (especially Moto2 and 3)

Thanks for a great update on the last week, didn’t have time to watch half of what I’d love to have seen and you’ve covered it all today ( with such enthusiasm !) - a great round up much appreciated.

I love these recaps. Keep up the incredible work!!! As a long time fan since childhood, my $.02: Red flags should be only for when the cars cannot physically continue to circulate around the track or there is a true safety issue, never for entertainment. or to create artificial excitement. All restarts should be standing, except perhaps is there is an extreme weather issue. Let the race evolve organically. If one in 50 races happens to end under a yellow, so be it. There's more to F1 than dramatic tv inspired one lap dashes to the checkered. You can't have super fuzzy rules around this where you make things up on the fly, or you get the expected controversial results and a podium decided by the officials and not the actual racing. That's how people get robbed of wins and championships. You can debate whether something was a racing incident, penalties, etc., but the framework of the race---laps, starts and stops, etc., need to be consistent because teams base strategy on this. Hard to play chess when somebody moves the squares mid game. Also, bring back the screaming v-10's and 12's :) ---just throwing that in. LOL.

I'd like to know if it's still over the minimum race distance with the countback.

Considering the current situation within Irish Road Racing I wonder if F1's current obsession with red flags has as much to do with insurance issues as it does with artificially "improving the show"? If it does then the ending to Melbourne backfired badly. Restarting the race from a grid start with just 2laps to go was only ever going to result in chaos and was entirely predictable.

I don't mind DRS... but I wish the question wasn't "Does he have DRS" and was "Is he using DRS". I'd limit the number of deployments and allow it's use to defend. It would probably end in drivers banking their deployments for the end of the race, but at least it would be a fair fight. More interesting for the viewer than other push to pass options.
Absolutely agree about the tracks. Straight corner straight so a blocking driver will be compromises by corner exit speed seems to work everywhere.
As for the aero... Can I propose a "low debris" car. Less thin bits. Why can't we have shorter noses and wings that finish inside the front tires? Square up the sides so you can't hook wheels (better advertising space). Everyone knows they can build faster cars - we gave up on racing the fastest possible cars over 90 years ago... put the focus on more and more on the racing.

Disagree with most of your opinions about the recent F1 race, but I can respect them.
