Use a 9 volt battery have a connect wire attached to the battery positive and negative and let it touch the motor it is that one on the left top corner have the positive and negative wire touch it separately.A motor has a positive and negative Look at the two solder. On the cylinders shape fuse looking motor on the top left corner.On the polarity positive or negative the motor will clockwise or counter clockwise. Make sure the tape cover is close or it will get jammed and not slide in. NeXT open the cover and see if it will slide open again. Normally and it should work. Don’t fiddle mess with the internal wheel or side hinge clip. It might not open or close correctly later.

I wish I was able to follow your suggestion but I don't see any fuse shaped anything at the top left
