PSA if you can't quite get it, it's probably because you're too slow. There are multiple ways to input attacks(PS5: square, R1, R joystick) and doges(PS5: circle, R2). Try playing with different combinations of the two. I was stuck because i kept trying to use circle then square and was too slow
attack decay was dumb it didnt punish the true spammers and it made air combos impossible to do without getting it if they bring it back it would kill any skill in the game rn (bugs should get nerfed only)

I really question the quality of gamecube controllers. Random buttons of different sizes, different switches, pressure points, and springs. It's like they were on drugs when they came up with that lunchbox companion.

I play on keyboard and i extended the keybinds with a controller simulator that lets me bind my keyboard to simulate a controller. I use it to bind scrollwheel up to neutral attack, my side buttons are down and up attack. That way i have the advantage of controller (having direction based moves binded) and the precision and speed of WASD compared to a joystick. I just changed it today but i am already way better than yesterday
I got hit 4 times in a row by the Bugs helicopter, and it honestly made me miss the reduction in knockback and stun time in the beta. Really, i miss all the perks and quite a few things from the beta.
@@WzDk13 as a Kaz main, I do this very consistently. My point was, there's a huge skill difference between holding up-right and dodging, and jumping, pressing down-right, dodging 2-6 frames later, and then doing it again in quick succession

Bugs already making me miss attack decay
never will miss it attack decay happened after 2 attacks it was just dumb

Nah, I use one that utilizes the layout of them but is made for the nintendo switch. But yeah, old school ones are kinda scuffed.
