Until NIGERIA starts producing nothing less than 5 million barrels of oil per day, then i can praise, how can such a country with giant oil reserves and population be struggling to produce 2 million. if it can increase oil production then more money and the economy grows.
The subsidy in the Petroleum sector discouraged investors, now more investors are bringing their money and we are now having almost ten times the foreign capital inflows of what we used to have during the Buhari administration.
@@jidebolarinwa697 The truth is many Nigerians are now getting licences to build refineries after the subsidy regime was stopped. Investments into crude refining was not profitable and attractive to investors whether local or foreign until the subsidy regime was ended.
What is the point in all of this? Nigeria for years and years have sold their electricity to OTHER countries, leaving its people with VERY little electricity.
That electricity is a big issue, that's why we're looking for investment in the gas sector and I think about 2 dams are under construction, I'm not even sure
As it concerns Nigeria, that fact that the people do not have enough electricity is purely the choice of the Europeans, who made a decisions NOT to raise the standard of living of the people in Nigeria, by doing so they instructed the ministers to sell the electricity instead.
Siemens is building our electric power grid infrastructure from 4000MW to 24,000MW in four years, but upon the condition that subsidy in the power sector is removed. Subsidies discourages investors because it would lead to the loss of their money.
@@rotimikayode1072 You just do not get what is going on do you. Because white people want to bring in AI to control everything, electric cars etc, you have seen the devastating thing happening in Kenya where they have started micro chipping the people, basically living in an open prison. So, they will naturally increase the electricity
Despite the benefits that could have accrued to Nigeria from taking ownership of resources, there have been no positive impacts on the lives of majority of citizens of Nigeria because taking ownership by government is just a mere change of hands from foreigners to the private hands of the political leadership class who are using the country's resources corruptly for their selfish gains.
We Nigerians 🇳🇬 we are moving forward 🙏🏽👍🏾
We can't blame outsiders, our politicians are responsible for any failure in this case.

As an OPEC member they have agreed to produce based quotas meant to benefit all its members
@@rotimikayode1072 not everything is investment, why can local Nigerians produce the oil themselves.
@@jidebolarinwa697 Are you not a local Nigerian too. It is easy to say others should do it. What about you.

Countries with similar population even more developed country like Indonesia still have over 20 million people lacking access to electricity.
