It is amazing to see how much skill and muscle (wow 😳) goes into preparing these foods. Really enjoy your series and your posts on IG!

Hi Malicka you’re doing a great job, we have very similar food in Western Africa, specifically “Nigeria” growing up I remember going to my moms friends house to buy fura , I still can remember the procedure and its the same only that we don’t add corn and we make 2 varieties (the sweet and plain) also calabash is used instead of plastic, maybe now with modernization people use plastics too. I lived for some time in Southern Africa and I see the mix corn and pearl millets too and it taste so good.
I truly enjoy watching every second of this video it gives me the African vibe.
Patiently waiting for the next episode.💕💕💕

Aww thank you for the nice words, Maryam! I am sooo glad to hear 🥰🥰. Also nice to learn how it is done in Nigeria. Most people don’t actually add corn, but Oumou adds it for a few reasons: one being that people respond to it better when mixed with corn. The combo millet corn is something we also do with fermented porridge, which I think you call pap in Nigeria. Soo many things we have in common 🤩
