How to Clean, Disinfect, and Reprocess Your Multi Radiance Laser

These procedures are for properly disinfecting your laser device. All protective sleeves should be removed during a virus outbreak.
All lasers should be outfitted with a medical dome probe or the veterinary wound probe, and home patients should be instructed in the cleaning techniques and should do so between use.
First, turn off your device and be sure it is unplugged from the wall. Put on your gloves and remove the dome probe. Using a disinfecting wipe of either Hydrogen Peroxide, Clorox, or a 10% bleach/water solution, clean the entire surface of the laser and the probe for 2 minutes. Be sure to use enough solution on the wipe to ensure the surface will remain wet for 4 minutes.
Set the laser and the probe aside to air dry, and do not pat dry.
Once the laser is completely dry, it is ready to be used on the next patient or returned to the clinic.
All carrying cases should not be used from patient to patient during high risk alerts, and home care lasers should return to the clinic in some type of disposable / biohazard bag that was provided to the client with the rental laser.
