I remember when I was driving along the M2 motorway listening to a bit of banter goin on between Gerry and Sean Coyle, it was to do with Sean's headphones and Gerry shouted something down the mic and nearly blew Sean's eardrums apart, I burst out laughing and there was a van was passing me, I glanced over and the driver was laughing his head off too and when he seen me laughing as well he nearly erupted ! I miss Gerry and Sean I looked forward to it every morning he was a legend .
Just got the news of Gerry's death, more than a month after the fact. It is sadly coincidental, as I started reading one of his memoirs (Heads) just prior to his passing (and only recently finished it). It seems that I became a fan way too late. :(
