One of the last interviews we recorded with Gerry Anderson, who passed away on 21 August 2014. This was at the launch of the City of Culture 2013 programme in October 2012.
An absolute legend. I moved to New Zealand in 2008 and found out he died in 2014 in 2021 i was devastated a huge lose , I still listen to all his podcasts the man was a genius. Rest in peace my friend.

Great man great craic , could have listened to him on radio all day the hour n half he done in mornings flew in with him n Sean coyle and Geordie and many other contributors to his show many now who have passed away sadly and Gerry himself gone but never forgotten, would listen back to his radio shows n still laugh at the banter n craic that's the impact he had.

I miss you on the radio Gerry. I usually listened in my car driving around for work. You always made me laugh out loud...
