Вставка
- Опубліковано 8 лют 2025
- In this Range Report I get the opportunity to review and shoot a limited edition 2011 pistol from Staccato. This model is the XL with the "Island Barrel". This is a pistol designed for speed and competition with all the features you would want in a 2011. How does this pistol shoot? Does it offer a good shooting experience right out of the box? This video documents my personal thoughts, opinions and experiences with this firearm. Yours may vary.

I have an STI DVC3, which is the precursor to this gun and it is pretty much identical except the Island barrel. I’ve made a few modifications to it: Atlas trigger down to right at 2 pounds Cheely aluminum grip. The super long site radius really makes a difference. I have lots of guns, but the ones I carry to the outdoor range on paper and steel is the Atlas Erebus (comp), a ported Athena, a Laugo Creator Limited Optic (weird but fun) and this gun. The best Staccato has to offer for competition guns.
It sounds like you have a great pistol there.
@ thank you. I really enjoy your reviews. I agree with you about the gold barrel. I decided to go with it and got a gold trigger and gold base pads for the atlas mags i use with it. Pimpin ain’t easy but somebody gotta do it.
Never to late to become a Pimp. You shot that gun amazing. Forget about the bling you gotta get one.
Thank you so much!
Great review and good shooting! My carry gun is a C2 Limited with a 2 1/2 lb trigger. I’ve been training with it for 9 months. Great guns!
Yes they are. I am very impressed with them.
I have Staccato's including XC but have never shot an XL, but several of my Texas friends down in Florence tell me that they prefer the XL to the XC for a variety of reasons.
This XL is pretty nice. You should try one out for sure.
I can't recall you gushing over a gun like this and you've definitely shot nice guns
This one was something special.
This gun is my first hand gun. My complaint with the gun is that it’ s hard for me to slide it, also to load the ammunition. I’m a weakling!! lol. Thank you for sharing the info on the gun. I myself like the gun. Thx
You are very welcome and you have an amazing first pistol!
Great shooting Jason!
Thank you Matt!
Nice shooting and review! To be fair, STI was the originator of the 2011 before the company split into cookie cutter mass production Staccato and very exclusive and customized manufacturing that is Infinity.
Thank you for that information.
Always enjoy your honest reviews and agree with you on the TIN barrel, I prefer a DLC barrel and maybe some ports on the barrel like those Infinity ones.
Thank you so much. That means a lot to me.
Thanks for the review. Acro picked for duty or 3 gun? A big competition optic might be a good choice. FYI Staccato and Infinity share the 2011 trademark; pretty sure SVI and STI were the initial companies post split. SVI became Infinity and STI became Staccato; Infinity went custom comp models and Staccato went LEO production focused.
Thank you for that information. I did not know that.
Good evening Jason, how are you doing man. Alright we are discussing the Staccato XL a 2011 pistol that's what I'm talking about bruh!!! Huh go figure he forgot to thank me 🤣🤣🤣... Have you shot the Staccato XC??? If so which do you prefer? 😎
This one!
@@thetexasgunvault Wow really..! 😎
I have yet to see anyone carry a Staccato. Im sure these rare people exist, but I have yet to meet one in the wild. I did see a video where a cop was carrying one as his duty gun, but that's it.
I carry a C or a CS everyday and a P heritage during the winter months.
I know some people that do. Not many though.
Nice One, J. (David here) ... :-)
Thank you David!
