Wow, you're the first person and honestly the only person I have heard say that the psycho blade is no good.
You are the first person I've heard say that the physcho blade is no good. I've heard all great things about that blade.
Did you oil them first?
I would have to agree with you bro. I just picked up both the clipper and the trimmer and honestly the trimmer blade is very disappointing the blade just does not hit the way I thought it would when comparing its performance to the babyliss the blades definitely don't match up. I tried zero gapping it thinking that was the issue, but its not. I think the tip of the blade it probably a bit too thin so it kind of sticks, its not as smooth on the skin as the fx blade. will give some more time to see if the blade will eventually break in.
See i had the same issue with trimmer but i zero gapped them and theyre fine now, but the previous X trimmer hit way harder out the box for some reason. Same blade so i think its a factory issue not necessarily the fault of tpob

The machines internal hardware are solid but those blade aren’t it ,
If you like the babyliss blade better, take the base of the blade off the psycho and put it on the babyliss. Will allow it to sit flush and be more quiet.
I was going to look into doing that exactly but never taken a babyliss blade apart , will try tonight maybe
I have the same XO set, for me the clipper is nothing crazy, its a ok clipper but not a go-to, the trimmers on the other hand are some of the best out right now

ngl i got the xo trimmer as well...and when i was going around the ear, it just was not hitting right at all

Your blade doesn’t look zero gapped and I haven’t had any issues out of mines I had to zero gap clean and oil them
I zero gapped it enough until it was cutting peoples skin it felt a tad bit better but still wasn’t hitting like I wanted it to , that blade dragged and had to make few passes when hitting for head line ups , it knocked bulk down easy
Nah bro learning how to gap and set your tools to cut appropriately for your hand is a part of barbering… it takes time to find the right set idc what trimmer you buy… but the psycho blade is definitely IT! You might have gotten a bad blade… I got bad blades from every company I’ve bought more than 1 of the same clippers/trimmers and they all cut different… if they’re snagging send them back for another pair

There doesn’t seem right, i got the krazy and the physco and they’re perfect, even the clipper it doesn’t reject to just one experienced in real life use. I can’t imagine you needing the trimmer to be any sharper than it already is wouldn’t you be using a straight razor at that point?
Are they good enough to cut at home?
For sure. I’ve seen many reviews still haven’t got my hand on them but even I’ll tell you it’s probably better for just home use.
the regular x hits better its not the blade bro the psyscho blade is a hitter for lineups I have it on my fx3 with the philthy mod and a chameleon babyliss blade on the x and they're both hitters
Completely agree the trimmer was a disappointment for me also , hope he listens to feedback and dosnt have a meltdown😂
