TOP 3 most unreliable crossover Hyundai Tucson came in second place Hyundai Tucson (type TL) fixed all the shortcomings of its predecessor, the ix35. But even new models have problems with the rear suspension. In 11% of cases saw a problem with the Parking brake and discovered the defects in the body. Kia Sportage 3-year-old Kia Sportage too cannot brag of outstanding reliability. Despite the improved form, making adjustments in the design and correction of “childhood diseases”, 7% SUV find a lot of unpleasant things: problems with the electronics, brakes and quality suspension is deteriorated compared to the previous model range 2010.
Hi your prices aren't correct as this was posted in Apr 2016 and is clearly the 2015 version. not the 2018 as in your title. probs best you actually put up the right video. the number plate is the give away surely?!
Good to see the video utilising 1440p and 4K. Watching in 1440p and the quality is very good. The way that the video has been produced in terms of style and the way the audio has been done is perfect. This channel has beaten my expectations. Keep up the good work. And finally, the usual good reviewing style from Mat. No other reviewers on UA-cam bring a smile to my face.
The Kia Sportage is so spacious that it's a shame there's no third row seats. However, five seater arrangement for such a roomy car is luxurious, and the doors are massive. When the 3rd generation Kia Sportage came out in 2010 it looked like the car of the future that will give midsize sedans a run for their money. Here we are in 2017 and crossovers are all the rage.
Great to see you back Mat and great video as always. I'm still surprised I haven't seen you crop up on television yet as you're a natrual when it comes to reviewing cars. looking forward to your newer videos :)
Very slick production on this video! Great review and by far the best car reviewer. Matt should be heading up the new Top Gear show instead of Chris Evans who is so far up his own backside that his colon must be full of spectacles that he's lost up there over the years.
CarBuyer has grown so much because of you, Mat. If CarBuyer didn't have you I'm sure it wouldn't have many subscribers. I'm sure this will grow very fast because you're an excellent reviewer. Nice to see you again!
what about petrol buyers no one reviews the petrol version you say most will buy diesel because of better fuel economy. but you fail to mention they not suited for the school run and short journeys which is what most people use the car for we are not all sales reps
The review is on antler level it's like a million pound budget advert, I would suggest a little less showing the car while talking but overall this review was the best layout for success especially the presenter👍🏻
One big thing that is missing from this new Sportage for me is the glass roof that my 2014 model has. My Sportage is only a trim level 2. Not many manufacturers offered this as standard from such a low trim level. I've always preferred the design of the Sportage over the ix35 and the original Tucson. But I have to admit I think the Tucson beats the Sportage on style.
Video feels dinamic, everything was well explained and I like the links to more specific videos and the pros and cons at the end. great to see Matt at it again!
I thought you were 5 foot eleven and a half!! The new vids are great, nobody does it quite like you - the high def vids and in depth reviews are like none other.
Always funny to me the obsession car reviewers have with folding seats, in 10 years of driving various SUV's I have not once dropeed the rear seats, am I the only one??
Finally! But you didnt mention mobile/phone users to click below if watching on mobile like you used to in your previews place. On a side note feel free to use more music in the backround. I would recommend to come up with more memorable tune maybe some guitar riff or smth to make it more memorable so people will remember carwow.
This is one pretty looking little SUVin real life, very smoth and balanced lines, remembers me of a certain old Bmw 325 in terms of design balance. Practical too. I have a 2016 Sonata (Hyundai-Kia.. not really distant companies) and the climate control only allows three combinations of vents, while the way the buttons are designed in Kia, it allows all combinations of 1, 2 or 3 vents at once. Nicely done, you can see Kia engineers actually do their work and not just Facebook during work hours.
Its a nice car, BUT the major drawback is the rear indicator which is placed down, and not with main tail light. Hardly u can notice when u drive behind it.
crossover suvs tend to attract a certain type of buyer usually middle aged who loves to tow a caravan at low speeds at peak times, when normal people are trying to get to and from work. Also crossover suvs are loved by the Dogging community as shown on old top gear. Seriously don't give up on your life when your wife says it's about time we got a sensible family suv, put your foot down and say noooooooooooo we are keeping the saloon I've not given up on life yet.
Monkiimagic If by "every way" you mean by almost no ways then yes. Koreans are quieter and the build quality is good. I was in a CRV recently and it was horribly noisy.
Well I know that's not true as I have actually test driven the 2016 CR-V and with the increased door width and extra sound proofing (which you would know had you done some research into the cars) it is a very quiet car, far quieter than it's cheaper alternatives. I have test driven them all as well.. including the Mazda Cx-5 which has pretty bad road and wind noise at motorway speeds.
Monkiimagic Well, it's not like I mentioned the 2016 CR-V did I? It was 2014 I believe. Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4,Hyundai Tucson, Kia Sportage are priced the same - no idea what makes the Japanese "premium" for you. I've driven Kias and Hyundais as well as Japanese, there's no difference, I actually prefer the Koreans.
I love mat's reviews so much ..The are detailed and very fun to watch.. I was sad when I found out he left car buyer and I so glad I found him again on carwow.. I just subscribed by the way.. Welcome back Mat..

Great to see you back on our screens Matt and a nice review of a very decent looking Kia.
The one that started it all
nice camera work! I love the fact that from the front to the back there is no cut 2:05
And overall it feels really smooth.
The idea is that you are following me round the car - like you are there and I'm your car expert mate, there to show you round.
Love to see you inforce your own style in this review! Great having you back!
Sportage is one of my favourite cars
Great to see you back Mat and great video as always. I'm still surprised I haven't seen you crop up on television yet as you're a natrual when it comes to reviewing cars. looking forward to your newer videos :)

Finally Mat is back, we were waiting you for long time and the wait was worth. Awesome review mat and the new camera angles looks great.
I got this car used from a dealer with only 13000km. It is a great car, cheap, very practical. In Australia, we get 7 years Unlimited KM.
Thumbs up for 4k footage.. and also newthinking when it comes to the 360 degree video
Brilliant first vid, can't wait to see more. Thanks Mat.
There are 12 more - just follow the cards in the corner of the screen....

Great picture quality and editing. Matt delivers as always ;)
I am glad he pronounces it as Sport ARGE. And not Sport AGE like our American friends. Well done Mat!
Yeah, front design is really brave...
Glad to see Mat back.
The strange thing that this video uploaded 8 years ago and we are still in 2024 how that makes 8 years rather you talking about Kia Sportage 2018😅

Aaaah the first review, where it all began...

What year was this car produced, because the vid was uploaded in 2016 but the car is a 2018??....... I might just be stupid

Thank you for recording in superb 4K and great review. Really shows carbuyer up...
The rear looks great, but as with the previous model, I don't like the indicators low down at the bumper.
Nice to see you back on UA-cam, Mat!!

Amazing video quality. Glad you're back, Mat.
Good job!
Body coloured door handles should be a standard on all cars. Seriously.
mat, the only car reviewer cool enough to reply back.😂
Very true
Good to have you back on YT...
Welcome back man, i subscribed before even seeing the video, it's nice to see you again Matt
Thanks
Nice to see you Mat... from Malaysia!
High quality video... and high quality editing!!! Well done!
Bet the autonomous emergency breaking was hard to film, must of been difficult for Matt to just not jump out of the way. Great review, really slick.
About damn time, Mat! ;)
Nice to see you again Mat! great video guys!

Kia/Hyundai replacing Honda/Toyota in the market.
Yes, Honda and Toyota are more premium in every way to Kia/Hyundai so they have moved out of that sector.

Just bought one of these and I think it's awesome for the price, very glad I went for it!
I am considering one of these. What's your experience driving on motorways? Also, is fuel economy decent?
@@0gbeni Not great for short journeys (like 25-30mpg) but on motorways if you're driving steadily at 70mph then 45-50mpg is achievable
@@jamespearson380 thanks. Not too bad for motorway driving then
