Praying all went well with Rae. I know it must have or we'd have heard something by now since you're posting these so far behind the actual births, but either way it's a heckuva cliffhanger you have left us on!
This year is so different than previous years... they never left us hanging. The videos have been much later and now this. Just hope everything went well 😮🐐
Well, Crystal, you know the first rule when the unexpected happens: Don't Panic. Rae knows you're gonna help her get those babies out. Time to put on the Coffee! 🌌🌙💕
We know Rae is in good hands but am sure this is a bit stressful for you Crystal. Looking forward to your next video and seeing Rae and her healthy kid(s).
Waiting for an update. I think anyone who has had goats for a long while will be in this position. Its hard because we will always question what is the right choice to make, especially when we dont have a vet specializing in goats on hand. I had a vet tell me that c-sections are hard on goats and the mom might not survive it, but i dont think he specialized in goats. This is why I appreciate your channel, you dont hide the tuff times and we can learn from what did and didn't work for you.
It’s amazing to see that Rae literally stayed with her back end towards you even though what u were doing was hurting her she knew she needed the help. ❤ sending love and hugs hopefully everything went well… 😟 I’m nervous
Waiting for an update on poor little Rae. You can do it Rae! You are a brave Lucky daughter. I know you can do this Crystal you have gone through some scary situations and come out with great results . Ruger is also there for her sister for support .
Crystal You Are My Favorite Goat Mom. I Love All Videos. Also Love Your Husband Singing. Ive Watced Your Kids Grow Up, You Done A Great Job Of Raising Them. Keep The Video s Coming. Kim From Michigan.
This is freaking me out even more so, as you only felt a spine. Praying and hoping Rae is okay and delivers well with no complications or grief. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 Crystal I don’t know how you do it! Your calm and reserve in dire situations. My hats are off to you. Remembering the past videos of precarious goat labor outcomes, up to now. I definitely have so much admiration for you and your family. ❤️🙏🏽
There comes a time when you need to concede defeat and call in the Vet, she’s labouring way too long and you could lose her and the babies. I hate a cliffhanger at such a tense time…. Prayers that all will be well 🙏🏻.
That's so scary!! But I know Rae is happier having you there with her and helping her! I pray everything turned out good! What a rough season you're having this year!
That's what I was wondering too. C sections seem to be much kinder when you watch other lambing or kidding channels. This kidding was nearly a month ago now so I'm sure we would have heard if things went badly. Crystal is so good at what she does, I'm sure she did an excellent job with Rae. Looking forward to the next video. 🙏🏻
Goats do not do well with anesthesia. More than likely she would have to dispatch th kid and dismember it to get it out and save the doe and other kids. She had to do it with another goat years ago. It was to big to deliver.
@@michellebershers typically a farm c section doesn't require full anaesthetic, just local and a spinal block to numb the whole region. We'll find out I'm sure.
Oh my! I really hope Ray and the kids are gonna be okay! Hopefully the mispositioned kid isn't dead, which I think is a reason for the cervix not to dilate all the way, or at all.
Hope that Rae delivers soon so you don’t worry. She really wants her babies here, especially after seeing her sister deliver and helping her, now it’s her turn. No babies yet. Oh no. Pray that little Rae delivers okay.❤️🙏
I know you attend all the births that you can but I wonder if our presence doesn't sometimes stall the progression. We know animals in the wild will hold off on delivering until they feel safe. I know your goats all trust you, I was just thinking that leaving them alone in the beginning and just checking in on them occasionally. She definitely needed you at delivery in this case.
They do generally leave them alone to progress on their own. She tells us at the beginning of each video they generally don't sit in with the goats until the contractions and pushing have begun. But obviously this case was a bit different since Ray's baby was so poorly positioned.
I hope she delivered. I hate cliffhangers 😢
😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢🎉 8
I hate cliffhangers, too!
A new one came out a day ago. Bout to go watch it.
What a time she is having on her first freshening. It must be a buck! Waiting patiently for an update!

Poor Mouse 😔 I'm so sorry for the sweetness 😪 I wish you all the best Crystel that you can bring the babies to the world with her ❤
Crystal wish I could be there to help you all!!!!!!!
Ray knows you will help her. Hoping for a happy out-coming.
Oh, man! Don’t leave me hanging! I hope Ray and her babies will be ok.
Hope everything goes ok with Rae.
Rae’s cries are probably the saddest I’ve ever heard from a doe😢 Oh my goodness I hope everything works out.
Sometimes giving a calcium drench can help with dilation. Really helped me out of a pickle the other day.

Stay calm and pray!🙏🙏🙏. You got this mama!💕
Poor Rae, this is rough for her, I’m really worried for you and her. I hope all will be well.
There comes a time when you need to concede defeat and call in the Vet, she’s labouring way too long and you could lose her and the babies. I hate a cliffhanger at such a tense time…. Prayers that all will be well 🙏🏻.
Please tell us something. Pray everything is ok.
That's so scary!! But I know Rae is happier having you there with her and helping her! I pray everything turned out good! What a rough season you're having this year!

My little therapy chihuahua is very worried that I am worried about Rae 🙁. Prayers lifted for all 🙏
i hope everything went well, im curious if you opted for a c section in the end for both mumma and baby
That's what I was wondering too. C sections seem to be much kinder when you watch other lambing or kidding channels.

Her cries are heartbreaking. Poor Momma and poor you😢
Hope all is well, looking forward to seeing the cliff hanger❤❤
Oh my! I really hope Ray and the kids are gonna be okay! Hopefully the mispositioned kid isn't dead, which I think is a reason for the cervix not to dilate all the way, or at all.

Good friend of mine had to rush to the vet for a caesarean delivery of one huge 5 pound 3 oz buckling. The little nd just couldn't deliver it.

Now I'm worried, haven't heard in a few days. 😮
Gosh, poor little Rae! And Crystal!
You’ve got it Crystal! ❤
I'm just seeing this video and I'm soo concerned. I'm hoping it's the "no news is good news"! But my gut is saying something different!
Have decided that kids and lambs have one thing in common. They are all full of popcorn. 😅
Ahhhh! You can't make a cliff hanger like that!!!
I know you attend all the births that you can but I wonder if our presence doesn't sometimes stall the progression. We know animals in the wild will hold off on delivering until they feel safe.
