I've been welding since 1980. It's always humbling to learn how to make the job easier. Thank You my friend.
The jazzy 10 is my go-to for carbon steel.. purchased from weldmonger of course.

Hello my dear teacher.
Very nice to see you 😊
Dear teacher could you please make a video dedicated to 7018 rod porosity ?
It's sad to say but I learned a lot more from Jody than I did in welding school
Not sure if you give tips in comments ?
A friend is looking for hard-facing in a rock crusher , using a buz-box , stick , the hard facing he is using is not lasting ?
Thanks again
It always looks so easy till you do everything he said and still can't weld. I'm personally better with aluminum then steel. But man I keep practicing over and over and over again. Sometimes it drives me insane.
What angle should the tungsten be
depends on application but generally a 30 deg is a versatile angle www.weldingtipsandtricks.com/tungsten-grind-angles.html
I have never understood breaking your tungsten. Just cut it. You're going to sharpen it anyway.
@JFirn86Q totally agree! Jody has help me in welding school and at the job.
