FIRST TIME REACTING TO THE GREATEST GUITARISTS EVER!!! Stevie Ray Vaughan - Texas Flood | REACTION

- Опубліковано 31 тра 2024
- "Texas Flood" is a classic blues song by Stevie Ray Vaughan, which also serves as the title track for his debut album released in 1983. The song features Vaughan's impressive guitar skills, soulful vocals, and a raw energy that captures the essence of Texas blues.
Vaughan's rendition of "Texas Flood" pays homage to the original song by blues legend Larry Davis, but Vaughan's version became iconic in its own right, showcasing his mastery of the electric guitar and his ability to infuse traditional blues with a contemporary edge.
The song's lyrics convey the narrator's feelings of being overwhelmed by a flood of emotions, using the metaphor of a Texas flood to describe the intensity of the experience. With its powerful instrumentation and passionate delivery, "Texas Flood" remains one of Stevie Ray Vaughan's most beloved and enduring songs. - Розваги
Greatest guitar player ever
Da best guitarist of all time!!! He played from his soul!
I had the absolute pleasure of seeing him in a small blues club in downtown Houston when he was about 21. He is the true GOAT
Srv is amazing!
Best guitar slinger of ALL time.
Simply the best. (IMHO)
Stevie had a way of making most people that want to play guitar not want to play guitar after watching him play guitar, Bro! Awesome reaction!!
Happened to me...
I got over it, but I've given advice to beginner guitarists that hear SRV.
I tell them "just go into it knowing that it is highly unlikely that you will ever be able to play like that. Accept that fact, and play because you love to make music". 🤙😎
Fair point
Bassist here. 😂
I’m a bassist that plays a little guitar. He always inspires me to pick it back up
You're not wrong. John Mayer is a HUGE Stevie Ray fan.
I was lucky enough to see him play live in the mid 80's opening act for Van Halen, what a great night two guitar gods the same evening, but you feel the vibes with Stevie, enjoy the discovery
Saw him, 4 months before he passed, a floating stage Amphitheatre, on the Arkansas Rive , Tulsa Oklahoma..
he was sober ( no judgments) ....
For a Spring night, it was chilly. He came out dressed in Pancho from his Album from " In Step" ...played first 5 songs all up tempo, blazing, , before he stopped... Then asked , Hey Tulsa? Y'all warmed up yet? .
Then another hour and a half , of the greatest blues music heard to man. RIP SRV! ❤
Thank you for sharing this.
@@s550danny 👍..Thank you.✌️
Lucky lucky you!! ❤❤❤
SRV IS MY ALL TIME FAVORITE ❤️❤️❤️
This wont be your last SRV Video I'm sure. Checkout Stevie and Jonny Copeland Singing "Tin Pan Alley" or Stevie doing "Ain't Gone and Gave Up On Love". Total legendary performances.
Life without you live at the capital theater.
Stevie Ray is a super, super talent. God blessed him greatly, and Stevie Ray loved what he did. Missed so much❤❤❤❤ RIP
Watch him shred Jimmy Hendix's VOODOO CHILD live from Austin Texas. 🤞✌️
Did Jimi justice and beyond 🤘🏽😎
Yeah, that is one of my favorites and I had the pleasure of seeing Jimmy play live
Stevie is the best, no doubt - RIP
Nobody better than SRV.
2 pauses in 3 minutes shows that he doesn't care about algorithms or opinions ....would sit with this man for hours listening to music while having food and drink and become friends .
The World needs more of that ....
Can't go a day without some Stevie Ray. 🎸🎸🎸
God given talent and taken way too soon. R.I.P.
You get THAT good from HARD TIMES!!!! Period.
You should also check out Stevie Ray Vaughan - Lenny ( El Mocambo)
Yes, SRV is the greatest guitarist ever! ✌️
Best there ever was! I had the privilege to see him play live, I'll never forget it. An amazing man and guitar player.
They say Stevie Ray Vaughan made a deal with the Devil...
No one knows what Stevie got, but the Devil got guitar lessons.
He was the only one that didn't make the deal, that's why he's dead.
Also had the pleasure of seeing him three concerts. First time, didn’t know who he was. But said to myself, “I just witnessed the impossible”!.
40-45 years later! Still can hardly believe it! Truly the GOAT, no comparison to anyone I’ve ever seen.
RIP to the GOAT.
yes steve ray= top 10 ever for sure
Somebody has got to be the Baddest MoFo on the Planet, SRV was just the Guy! I'm thankful i had many Years to enjoy Stevie before the was talen from us! RIP Buddy, thanks for the memories & Music you left behind!
Right on!
Great reaction! I always love seeing someone hear Stevie for the first time! Don't feel bad, no one has been able to out Stevie Stevie, and they've been trying hard!
I saw Stevie on his first tour, standing right up against the stage, it was like standing in the eye of a hurricane!!!
Saw him at the Arkansas State Fair in the 70’s- he played in the cow barn!!!!!
Greatest reaction to anything ever.
The State of Texas.
Hes kind of john mayer's hero....mayer once described srv's voice as being "like gravel with honey poured over top".
Mayer was about three years old when this was recorded.
He is hendrix, bb king, muddy and all together, i am so happy i have saw him live on stage in his besttime, for me the best bluesrock guitarist but also her voice is on point ❤ i love your reaction 🎉
GOAT = SRV
If you want to see someone else on this level, check out Jeff Healey's, See The Light, on Night Music in 1988. And if you want something really special, Jeff and Stevie, playing, Look At Little Sister together on stage. World class talent all around. Stevie, Jeff, and their bands are the best!
WTF is SRV? The best!
The Best!
I worked a few shows with stevie ray vaughan check out the live version from the capital theater in Passaic N.J. is my favorite one I worked.
El Numero Uno. 🤙😎
If you want to hear a different side of Stevie Ray, I highly recommend Riviera Paradise, a slow jazz-blues masterpiece.
Brother, you gotta react to TIN PAN ALLEY! If you like da BLUES
I lived in Austin during the 80s and 90s. Saw him 8 times.
GOAT
Blues from Texas..
Top shelf,so excited live at the el mocambo, Beth Hart and Joe Bonamassa I'd rather go blind live 😮😅😊😊😊

The 🐐
John Mayer has openly said SRV was a major influence to him so im sure he does have some srv in his voice
Suggestion one of the most underrated guitarists and vocalist Steve Marriott previously the founder member of Small Faces in the 1960's Humble Pie late 60's and early 70's BTW Peter Frampton came out of the mighty Pie Five Long Years live 1985 Steve Marriott and the Packet of Three is my suggestion for some 🔥
💯
John Mayer could only hope to be half as good as Stevie Ray Vaughan. Stevie was his main influence I think.
I just hope that was his closer.
Check out 14 yr old Taj Farrant. There are many who say he's the reincarnation of Stevie Ray Vaughn/Gary Moore and Jimi Hendrix in one. Taj is going to be 15 on 5/21. He was good at 7 at 8 and 9 incredible. From then on just mind blowing good. Yes he does perform this song. Besides playing many of the great guitar players songs, Taj has also released 4 original songs Crossroads, Cruz, Bad Trip and House Always Wins that all went to #1 on the iTunes blues charts. The guitar is a part of Taj when he plays. He plays by ear and adds a touch of him to whatever song he's playing. To get an idea I suggest watching him play Gary Moore's Parisienne Walkways. ua-cam.com/video/PMdqV4xfUe4/v-deo.htmlsi=Vc5g-SelmjyF1Rp2
“Who the fuck is Stevie Ray Vaughan?” The GOAT!
This never gets blocked. What happened?
U havent done this one yet? I thought you did....yeah, i dont need the video, i have every frame of the action memorized
Bro you need to hear Joe Satriani: 'Surfing wth the alien' (His Best album) (Instrumental, Hard Rock/Metal songs with guitar solos) He'll blow you away with the way he plays.
My vote goes to Jimmy Hendrix. SRV considered Hendrix as sort of a mentor.
If you like this you should listen to Carlos Santana he is a great guitarist to.
- LOL !!! :)
Why does this keep getting reuploaded?
cause it keeps getting blocked
@theneverenderreacts that's lame, sorry man. Keep putting out great reactions!
It's so funny that you bring up John Mayer because Stevie Ray Vaughan is John Mayer's Idol
Yes his voice reminded me of John mayer
Yeah u do have a chance...he even fvcks up 30 year long guitar players like me...um, i tell u two things that can help you: one, u watch this video every day for three months & from then on pretty much every other guitar player u watch pretty much seems to be in slow motion, comparitively, so, that can help your eyes understand whats going on easier with videos of other guitar players u like....& two, people like david gilmour of pink floyd prove that u dont necessarily need speed to play gorgeously & ridiculously great. Gilmour is more like a painter, building up layers of beauty, & his solos end really intensely, but , with him, its not really a "speed" thing, per se, u can get power of the instrument in many ways...but, yeah, SRV was a madman, but he wouldnt want you talking like that, hed encourage you, like he encouraged many other guitar players in his life who were much slower & mellower than him, some of his fave players were more mellow types of players....there are many different styles of playing blues & rock. SRV was also snorting mountains of cocaine at this time too, so, its really not fair, lol.
Please do yourself a favor and listen to anything by B.B. King or Albert King(close friend of SRV) The true masters of original sound with the guitars
5:48 John Mayer was not only a huge fan of Albert King’s guitar playing , but he was also in his 2013 Hall of Fame induction ceremony…. These are not edits their add-ons of information🎉😂❤
11:06 wait until he starts singing with it behind his back😮😂🥴🤪😏😂😂😂
Ok Rivaldo, the scar on your forehead has a story......please tell us .
U sure??? ***VAN HALEN'S ERUPTION*** and then let us know!
We can't see the face.
Blocking too much of the video that we wanna see as well lol/bye
Its only "fair" that Stevie Ray's dose of talent was supersized from God .. otherwise we would all be guitar players & singers than.
Guess you haven't heard Roy Clark, Jerry Reed, Johnny Winter, the list goes on, the best, sorry far from it.
Opinions are like arseholes, everybody has one. So yes , you are entitled to yours
hahaha... Nobody is mentioning any of them as GOATS. They can't hang with SRV!
Name is pronounced Stevie Ray Vawn. Rhymes with yawn.
NOBODY can see what you have on the screen. Its a huge pink square with some nothing in the middle
it is barely visible. can tell it is stevie moving around.
NOT the greatest guitar player ever 🤦♂️
