    It makes the whole house smell tropical and nice. I use honey instead of sugar. It is worth the time to make it. 👍🏾

    I prepared this today and added two cinnamon sticks! I'm using this as a wellness drink to help treat sinus infection.

    If you add sugar it won't infuse and dissolve correct in cold , gotta add it when it's hot

    Looks so good! How long do you think the shelf-life would be?

      @Cassiopey Thank you! I’m not quite sure, I usually just keep it in my refrigerator and it’s usually done in a few days. If you’re referring to it being in a fermented state now that’s a different story.

    • @klerushka
      @klerushka 2 роки тому +2

      I would recommend no longer than 20 days. Its shelf-life should be comparable to that of ginger juice.

    Please I went to the supermarket and I bought old Jamaican pineapple soda, o my goodness it was very nice, will this drink be nearly to it? And my other question is please can I use fresh orange peel or it has to be only dry orange peel. Thanks

    • @AuthenticPlantbasedEats
      @AuthenticPlantbasedEats  2 роки тому +1

      It’s better to use the dried orange peel. Just peel and leave it out to dry for at least 2 days.

    So why couldn't the pineapple skin be blend? And if it could be blend, would it have to be boiled first?

      @Niecey locs Yeah I get what you saying with the orange peel and it worst if it’s not fully dried but I’m glad you enjoyed it still. Bless up 💚.
