Love how at around 24:19 , Cam instantly calculates 6 cubed being 216, but then tries to do the division of 216 divided by 6 in his head and doesn't realize it's just 6 squared. :D
For those who, like me, were wondering about the faction powers: Khan Industries (Cori): At the beginning of your turn, you get a troop in each HQ you own. Saharan Republic (Cameron): Maneuvers can be to any territories, even if they're not connected. Imperial Balkania (No one): You draw a card if you expanded into 4 territories, even without conquering ones. Enclave of the Bear (James): Defender subtracts 1 from their lowest defense die. Die Mechaniker (Ian): Your starting HQ is always fortified for you defending it.
After finding LRR through Friday Nights where Cam is an apathetic character, I love seeing how kind he really is, particularly the way he gets such a genuine smile when he greeted Penelope.
I love watching your guys' videos after i get home from a long day of school and work. I've been following you guys since you did the theros edition of friday nights. It means a lot to me what you guys and how you contribute to the gaming community. I have never laughed harder in my life then when i have watched your guys' streams
Ian and James rolling dice: Ian gets a 9. James get a 9. Reroll. James gets an 8. Ian gets an 8. Reroll. James gets friggin' snake eyes and Ian rolls a twelve. *Dang.*
the one campaign I played of this, the enclave of the bear became both the bringing of nuclear fire and the alien corroborater. don't count out the bears.
If I remember correctly you can only reinforce from a single territory You also have to comit your forces, if you attack with three dice on a territory, you must place atleast 3 in that conquered territory.
To be honest they picked a Stupid ability power for Imperial Balkania truth be told. you can only get 1 Card per turn reguardless. The other one would of activated like all the time. but yeah pretty stupid on there part woulda been pretty pwnage game 1.
Trisha Lynn I didn't say that I couldn't, but that I wouldn't enjoy it, as I still remember most of what happened and I would remember more as I re-watch it. If I wanted to rewatch this, it would be months from now, when I've forgotten everything and they've done the next part, so I could watch both at the same time for the full experience.
What I did when putting resource stickers on is the first 3 cards I put 2 extra on, then I randomly chose one territory from each continent and put one extra on each of them
Concentrating armies in one spot then crashing through the thinned out board at the end of the game is a valid strategy - I have won countless games this way.
It's the worst. It's the stone-cold worst. They've got the second session up on their Twitch channel, and it's gruesome. Small World is infinitely better, thanks in huge part to a turn limit, and not having opposed dice rolls.
They aren't doing reinforcing correctly. Also, not doing attacking right, as you have to actually move the mans you are attacking with into the country you took over. Also, James forgot he had a power the whole game.
could mechaniker have gotten that far on turn one? I was under the impressio that you couldnt attack a territory and then attack another territory from it.
Well 50 bucks for an experience that lasts 15 sessions with 4 people. Thats 83 cents per person oer session. Even if you can't replay it after thats a pretty good deal
Everybody starts the first game with one Red Star token (which is permanent) and one HQ (which can change hands), so two points in hand and two points to go. Any HQ is worth a point to any player while they control it. You take your neighbors HQ and cash in four resource cards, you win.
The holy fuck. 1:57:03 BEAR DUDE you had like 20 something troops on Iceland To WIN you had to get through nine territories 11 men This was more than doable, especially because defenders get a disadvantage against enclave of the bear(defender subtracts 1 from their lowest die, which was a single die in 6 of the 8 contested territories) You would have wrecked shit prior to this the flesh colored dude could have easily done such a thing from his position, however he had diplomacies in place that would have discredited him in the future. RISK, means risk. BLITZKRIEG is VERY effective against enemies that are spread thin. Most Risk legacy games shouldn't go more than 15 turns, this was aggregiously long. The Average game of risk legacy(not the entire thing but from placement to victory) should be no more than an hour.
Sam Kemp Enclave of the Bear’s power is the defender subtracts 1 from his lower defense die in the first territory you attack during your turn. ONLY the first territory.
it is a strategy game. only 2 players had a strategy. James was in it for the lol's and poor Ian had no clue what to do on the first few turns. Ian should have taken South america first turn. easy. James was way to stuck on being in North america the entire game. Risk is a game were if half the players know basic strategy then baring terrible luck with the dice, they can own those without strategy.
This was cringe. Terrible strategy from all players, constantly forgetting rules like cycling the cards to the discard pile, Ian rolling 3 attack dice when he's only attacking with 2 troops and Cori rolling 2 defense dice with 1 man defending, everyone moving multiple troops from multiple territories during the fortify phase, James not losing his man after losing an attack... sincerely this is one of the best board games ever made, but it's the first time I had to stop watching halfway through.
It honestly feels like the "legacy" versions of boardgames are scams to make the creator more money. Why the heck do you need to rip cards, use stickers, ruin the board in some cases by placing stickers on them??? Useless, annoying.
Love how at around 24:19 , Cam instantly calculates 6 cubed being 216, but then tries to do the division of 216 divided by 6 in his head and doesn't realize it's just 6 squared. :D

"The four nicest people here" And then there's Corey with murder in her eyes
Her name is spelled "Cori" as it's short for Coriander.
TJForceIX they should've known considering how big she wrote her name
If she's anything like Starfire, the emotion powering her abilities is murder.

Ian and James rolling dice:
Ian gets a 9.

James gets an 8.
Ian gets an 8. Reroll.
James gets friggin' snake eyes and Ian rolls a twelve. *Dang.*
I didn't know why people hated risk. Then I realized I was basically playing the first game of risk legacy over and over again.
To the death no less
the one campaign I played of this, the enclave of the bear became both the bringing of nuclear fire and the alien corroborater. don't count out the bears.
Cam is the only one who realized how ridiculously powerful the Sarahans Republic's (or whatever it's called) first ability is
Always really love the AFK shows, this and Hero Quest are my favs so far. Please keep them coming :)
I want more commander...
Asmodeus555 same
If I remember correctly you can only reinforce from a single territory You also have to comit your forces, if you attack with three dice on a territory, you must place atleast 3 in that conquered territory.
"Cori, you're up."
"Cori Turn!"
LouieGames
For whatever reason the 60s Batman theme entered my head.
And then Cori just dumps a handful of troops on Western Australia. XD
Why does Ian have a wax seal? How much of the Decadent Man skits are just filming Ian's day-to-day life?
Rytel All of them
I want a wax sealer.
This was very enjoyable to watch. I definitely want to play Risk now lol.
This was a hoot! I look forward to more episodes.
Starts at 3:25
Sweet Lovecraft reference, Cam! Calefaïs is one of my favorite of his short stories.
What I love about this game is that you can create informal alliances and attack those same allies at any time.
By the way there is a secret envelope at the bottom of box
BEAR FORCE ONE
Watching them rip the cards makes me feel dirty.
39:00 NONE of them pick imperial Balkania despite there being 2 two star resource cards and 1 three star resource card on the board!
To be honest they picked a Stupid ability power for Imperial Balkania truth be told.
you can only get 1 Card per turn reguardless. The other one would of activated like all the time.
but yeah pretty stupid on there part woulda been pretty pwnage game 1.
More please, love this
I love how eager Cori was for the blood pact.
I'm somewhat wondering why they haven't decided to paint all the figures.
Kind of surprised no one wanted to open the Fourth envelope. The one that says Do Not Open.
Dang, I kinda wish I hadn't seen this on Twitch already so I could enjoy this while studying...
Who says you still can't? Rewatching things and re-listening to things is a thing you can do.

Hey my question is if u play first game with group of friends n the next gam4 different group is that change anything?
when do we get the pro how to of pen tricks with cam?
Hey Dr. Cam! What pens are you using?
Looking forward to seeing the next war break out!
City McCityface is the best name for a city.
James was so close to founding Reykjavík
James' Risk Mega-game sounds really cool.
What is the official color of the personal wyrmwood dice tray?
Will you guys do commander 2016 when its released?
i will watch all of these.
3:25 when the stream starts
many thanks
James 1:46:40 is when commercial break ends
They're usually pretty good at cutting that stuff. What happened? And when are they going to update their best playlist, Watch and Play?
They don't cut on the LRL transfers, I thought. Stuff they bring to the main LRR channel gets edited, yeah?
But the game stuff doesn’t start until about 10 minutes in.
Concentrating armies in one spot then crashing through the thinned out board at the end of the game is a valid strategy - I have won countless games this way.
jeremytapsell as has my 7 year old son. I really need to be more watchful when he makes a pile of armies.
51:55 who is the one with the Mario Pipe Effect as a message sound?
Meat wall of flesh-colored ladies, it's not load bearing though... I almost died.
I may be a bad person for this, but I skipped parts of the video and so must ask: did they open any envelopes?
Cameron casually spinning a pen while he plots world conquest is so hot.
man I just played some regular risk with friends on the PS4, fuck that game.
It's the worst. It's the stone-cold worst. They've got the second session up on their Twitch channel, and it's gruesome.
Small World is infinitely better, thanks in huge part to a turn limit, and not having opposed dice rolls.
I've done the whole, linking risk boards together to play a game of Mega Rick I played it over two days straight with 4 friends
aren't they doing the resource cards wrong? don't they discard the last after each round?
and on your last move, don't you only get to move from one territory to one territory?
Am I the only person who sees this and imagines the poker night scene from season 6 of Archer being this in 3 games?
"How about we split them?" "How about you try it?"
1:46:35
Skip the commercial break
They aren't doing reinforcing correctly. Also, not doing attacking right, as you have to actually move the mans you are attacking with into the country you took over. Also, James forgot he had a power the whole game.
It starts at 3:30
Why does Ian NEVER get his unit for his station >.
Can this game be played after the original 15?
After the original 15 It becomes a personalised risk
So World War 3 destroyed the entire continent of Antarctica!?!? Where do you get the full story?
the story is in the real book. these are new worlds that we manufactor.
One time my friend put 100 plus troops on Japan
lol i use to play risk every Friday in high school
Every copy of risk legacy is personalized.
WOW!!!! GG
20:35 one ability is strong in the mid game and the other is stronger in the end game.
Ripping it in half? HA! I rip it up COMPLETELY!
35:09 the coin cards are in a different pile
Edit: You guys know now
you get a minimum of 3 troops...
I would just put them in disuse box or something.
1:38:11
How do you start
wait, does that mean if you want a fresh start for the game you need to buy a new game board?
yes, but only for risk legacy
in other words, risk legacy is meant to be played through once in its entirety, that is, 15 games
i figured cam or cori would of won, james was trapped and fought well
could mechaniker have gotten that far on turn one? I was under the impressio that you couldnt attack a territory and then attack another territory from it.
that's the whole point of risk
Can we see you guys play smash up?
Lmfao “Ohh-Pee-Ummmmmm”
The way Cameron and Cori pronounce Utena hurts me
A non-reusable board game? And a big box one too making it extra painful and expensive.
You can re-use it at the end of the campaign though. You have a personalised board.
it's only 50 bucks. I really wouldn't call that big box. games can get WAY more expensive then that.
Well 50 bucks for an experience that lasts 15 sessions with 4 people. Thats 83 cents per person oer session.
Even if you can't replay it after thats a pretty good deal
"16 dudes on my thing" has to be one of the dirtiest sentences ever said.
How did Cam get 4 points, I thought the rules said that your own HQ doesn't count as a victory point?
Everybody starts the first game with one Red Star token (which is permanent) and one HQ (which can change hands), so two points in hand and two points to go. Any HQ is worth a point to any player while they control it. You take your neighbors HQ and cash in four resource cards, you win.
What was the joke about Ashley?
desertbus.org/blog/2015/11/17/driver-profile-ashley-2/
I've never seen so many basic errors in a game of Risk in my life.
I yelled at the screen every few minutes
@@thetangieman3426 me to
Don't you have to mark your sponsorship a lot more?
56:00 already placing the bunker scar incorrectly 🤦♂️
How so? 🤔 I'm learning the game, so just out of curiosity for me.
You are putting the stickers on wrong!!!
How so? 🤔 I'm learning the game, so asking out of curiosity here.
@@Choose2Connect They are covering the markings entirely instead of aligning the stickers to them. They fix this later in the game though.
I am double six attack on James in east America was illegal
Each person is supposed to play one faction the entire campaign. Only way to properly get invested
no. later rules break this. completely.
Cori should've grabbed Asia
I meant earlier
Bear Cav is best
I ruled as Bear Cav
1:18:30 Ian should have taken a guy away from the west as well, they tied?
The holy fuck. 1:57:03 BEAR DUDE
you had like 20 something troops on Iceland
To WIN you had to get through
nine territories
11 men
This was more than doable, especially because defenders get a disadvantage against enclave of the bear(defender subtracts 1 from their lowest die, which was a single die in 6 of the 8 contested territories)
You would have wrecked shit

guess i'm early...
*how about that dead by daylight?*
Yes.
Early is the new first.
true
They started the game wrong
How do you guys not understand the basic rules of risk?
They didn't know you get a minimum of 3 troops...
Tasmania is not on there
I care very little
Cam flipping his cards cards is the most annoying thing holy, how did no one stop this from continuing
wow the misplays...Ian should have died. what was James thinking? and many other things.
how do you "misplay" risk? you don't have to kill people to win the game, so how's not killing someone a missplay?
it is a strategy game. only 2 players had a strategy.
Here I thought you were referring to all the times they rolled the wrong number of dice and all the times they made multiple reinforcing maneuvers.
Cori just wrecking things when rolling was annoying...
Watching this I realized how terrible new players are at risk
Does Cam know he is gay?
This was cringe. Terrible strategy from all players, constantly forgetting rules like cycling the cards to the discard pile, Ian rolling 3 attack dice when he's only attacking with 2 troops and Cori rolling 2 defense dice with 1 man defending, everyone moving multiple troops from multiple territories during the fortify phase, James not losing his man after losing an attack... sincerely this is one of the best board games ever made, but it's the first time I had to stop watching halfway through.
Alex Devus Strategy-wise, this was painful to watch.

Marc Förtig kinda like your comment
You have completely missed the point.
