I don't believe the intent was that a lot. Do not assume the worst about people so abruptly. What the person meant by the comment was that these people (reverts) are true in their faith because they are not blindly following the deen. Instead, they have lead a life that was void of Islam and now know the value of Islam. Then they (the person who commented) stated that a lot of Muslims are ignorant in their religion, which is beyond true. This is the biggest difference between muslim reverts and “ex-muslims”. Muslim reverts are always people who converted after doing much research and a lot of them are experts in the field of theology like these priests. Prophet Mohammad (pbuh), will be the leader of mankind on Judgement Day and will be the first one to enter Paradise. It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah that the Messenger of God, Prophet Mohammad said: “I will be the leader of mankind of the Day of Resurrection, the first whose grave will be opened, the first to intercede and the first to be asked to intercede.” Sahih Muslim, 2278 Anas b. God therefore sent Jesus to our world to save us from punishmet that we should not partake in Hell which is meant for Satan and demons. Jesus was willing to do so. Jesus came, lived a sinless life, underwent suffering before and during the time of crucifixion, shed HIS pure, sinless blood.God declared through Moses - Humanity needs a shedding of blood for their sins. I don't believe the intent was that a lot. Do not assume the worst about people so abruptly. What the person meant by the comment was that these people (reverts) are true in their faith because they are not blindly following the deen. Instead, they have lead a life that was void of Islam and now know the value of Islam. Then they (the person who commented) stated that a lot of Muslims are ignorant in their religion, which is beyond true. This is the biggest difference between muslim reverts and “ex-muslims”. Muslim reverts are always people who converted after doing much research and a lot of them are experts in the field of theology like these priests. But “ex-muslims” were usually non practicing muslims at first anyways, and always uses emotional justification, like “oh my father is abusive, so islam is wrong” never having researched how islam actually instructed men to behave with their wives and kids.

Quran 69:44-46, Allah says if Muhammed was a false prophet his death would be from "cutting his aorta"!
Sahih al-bukkari 4428, Muhammed feels the pain in his aorta from poison! He says, he feels like his aorta is being cut!
Sunan Abu Dawud 4498, Muhammed said of the pain he died from " I still continue to feel the pain from the morsel I had eaten at khaibar. This is the time it has cut off my aorta" .

Guidance for Mankind
The Qur’an is “a guidance for mankind… and the distinction (between right and wrong).” Qur’an 2:185 It provides direction to help mankind judge between right and wrong, without which, man would surely be in loss.
Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said, “Whoever fasts the month of Ramadan due to faith and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.”
Sahih al-Bukhari 1802.
So if Hitler fasted in the month of Ramadan - His previous sins would have been forgiven.
Why did Mohammad not believe in this - When asked he was not sure where he would go. Abu Bakr too why was he not assured with Mohammad's words. it was heard him saying that even if he had one foot in paradise he would not trust Allah to get him to heaven.
Why is this hadith contrary to Surah 19: 71 of the quran which says every muslim will got to hell.

But when Satan and demons rebelled, God had already dispalced them from their original abode and passed judgment

When Man went against God's commandment he too must be punished and banished from God's home, the universe. But He wanted to spare humanity as they were deceived by Satan, someone who is sinless and not corrupted has to pay the price for the humanity and shed his
sinless blood and serve the punishment on behalf of the humanity. God therefore sent Jesus to our world to save us from punishmet that we should not partake in Hell which is meant for Satan and demons. Jesus was willing to do so. Jesus came, lived a sinless life, underwent suffering before and during the time of crucifixion, shed HIS pure, sinless blood.God declared through Moses - Humanity needs a shedding of blood for their sins. That is why Jehova God made a decree through Moses that a lamb without any defects ( A pure one ) should be slain and its blood should be springled by the Chief Priest on the Ark of the Covenant which is in the Holy of Holies for God to forgive the sins of the people.This known as Passover Festival for Israelites. Jesus died on the cross during this festival, and shed his sinless blood like a Passover Lamb. If anyone wants to receive forgiveness, one has to accept the fact that Jesus took our punishment on Him, and shed HIS pure blood for us and repent from sins.
That is why Jesus the Spirit and the Word of God took the form of a man. Whether question of God and Jesus are one is another topic to be explained. Better have a Leader who is sinless and acceptable to true, living God and not a immoral person.
