I love how he calls the intended way to fight a boss a "cheese kill" like the version that was programmed and animated specifically to bring across the desperation of the boss.
It isn't a strict, well defined term. Intentionality doesn't make it any less cheesy. I wish the lava lingered for a bit, that could make the cheese thematically relevant without having the boss be such a pushover.
