Never run through using DEX, so a perfect combo to have a more chill run that was easy to keep a bit silly.

One minor thing for future DS1 runs is that you can still take the backway into Blighttown even without the master key. From Andre, just go into the forest and take the side path down past the basin, into the valley of the drakes, sprint past all of said drakes, and viola you're at the backway Blighttown entrance.

Any Souls player born after 2015 can't Darkwraith grind.

I used the Uchigatana the second time I beat the game. Definitely better than the stock straight sword.
The Iron Golem fight had me cackling with the Van Darkholme reference, and I _ascended_ when the camera pointed up, bahahaha! Phenomenal work as always!
Side note: Would Van Darkholme be a good choice for a whip-only run of Elden Ring? 🤔

28:10 Did you know two-hand blocking and standing still completely dodges Nito's ground stabs? Learned this recently, apparently it works because the animation spreads your character's feet apart, and the hitbox for the blade is all ground.

It was a very comfy video. I missed Ds1 and the classic Yamfh style. Your unique touches like the cut at the end of the Sif fight were very cool. Love the Ghost of Tsushima music, that mission was incredible.

loving the video, but i wanna point out a few things to make future runs easier for ya:
1. there's a ring behind the locked door at the top of the Asylum which gives normal movement in bogs, tar, water, everything.
2. the weakpoints for Bed of Chaos can be taken down with projectiles. you could've sat in front of her throne and flicked knives at the things.
3. if strength users can put 3 levels into dex to use bigger bonks, you can do the same for strength so you can one-hand katanas and use the other for rude gestures as the Gods intended.
