I suppose I shouldn't have been surprised how this one came out. I was personally hoping more Pokémon got in but the best part of having a lot of songs from the same franchise is that they're a lot smoother to transition typically.

Monster Hunter fan here and I'd like to compare the underrated level of these 2 in terms of soundtrack
ah, mmm, ah, mmm, hmm...
Its a series that was in dire need of a stronger script editor and scene director. Gameplay, puzzles, and music are aces, but *how* the story is told is infuriatingly slow.
Addressing what seems like 99% of comments. If you want more than just Final Fantasy, then vote for something different. Instilling a one franchise per medley rule would void people's votes who voted for a different song if it didn't quite get as many votes as the winner and I don't think that's fair. I don't like the idea that in this case, the hundreds of votes sank into all the songs other than the FF song that won would not count and I don't like the idea of not counting votes. a lot of the other songs people are upset didn't make it I see had less than 5 votes from getting in so vote for it if you want it in these medleys! Other than that, thanks for all the kind words about how it came out! This one took the most time out of any of them so far.
You should put a limit on it (2-3 songs from a franchise) so the medley has a larger variety.
+Boekster Cubing The point is everyone's votes count. That would also void votes. Plus, it really says something about Nobou if he's pretty much monopolized battle themes.
+elrognol Then I'm just changing people's votes. What about that guy who didn't like FFVI at all that really wanted FFV to get in? It'd be pretty shitty to change his vote to something he didn't like.
+FamilyJules7X You know something I was thinking that might be interesting to do in the future would be to do something like a runners up medley where you pick 10 songs from previous medleys that didn't make it and make a medley of those.
+FamilyJules7X There's always the possibility of "Runner Up" medleys of songs that just barely missed the cut from the various medleys, right? Fair compromise to silence the whiners (though that wouldn't happen, I just really want more kickass medleys).

When I first watched it and got to #1, I was so scared that Golden Sun wouldn't be there... so excited when I heard it start!
If only I hadn't looked at the comments section before the video reached the end. Seeing Golden Sun as the #1 without knowing it was coming would have made my heart jump. That game deserves the top spot!

Battle Themes was my favorite medley yet! The transitions were SO good!

The only reason she didn't do vocals for Persona was because I didn't give her enough time. I wanted to get this out the first of the month but it took too long so it's totally on me and I'm sorry.
I still think it turned out great! As a vocalist myself, I actually prefer the medleys keeping guitar leads consistently throughout. While it would have been fun to sing, of course, "Guitar Medley" is literally part of the title, so I don't think there's anything wrong with not having vocals. I'd personally rather hear a good overall flow when listening to a medley, and I think leads sounded awesome for the Persona piece in this one. :)

The FF7 Battle theme almost made me tear up. I may have a problem... WELL DONE!
I could even hear the sound effects of the battle inside my head, potions being used, orders being given, Tifa's punches, Cloud's sword, Barrett's gun arm... good stuff.

Not gonna lie. Not big on FF as a whole but watched playthroughs of VII and man I fell in love with the music in that game and other Final Fantasy games as a well.

God I love that FFX battle theme. Its perhaps my favorite standard random encounter theme of all the FF's. FFXIII comes in close second too geez they're ALL GOOD

This is the video that made me fall in love with this channel within literal seconds. Such good covers, the blending of all of the themes into one arrangement, the combination of the final 5 songs, especially the last three, and ESPECIALLY #1 specifically. Dude, this made me feel emotions that very few songs have ever made me feel.

People saying that golden sun got the recognition it deserved, the franchise that deserves the recognition for its soundtrack the most in my opinion is Monster Hunter. The music is so underrated.
