    The air you breath is 78% nitrogen. So that means the air you pump into your tires with a regular compressor is putting in almost 80% nitrogen for free. Unless you are running a race car on a track there is virtually no advantage to spending money to fill your tires with 100% nitrogen.

    • @Rudderify
      @Rudderify 5 років тому +3

      DAVID MUISE I disagree. Nitrogen is much better in your tires for those of us who live in temperature swinging climates. When the temp swings during season changes I can guarantee you that you’ll have to add 5-10lbs of compressed air to compensate. I have nitrogen in my tires for two years now and I’ve never had to add air during the year ... also use nitrogen in the wife’s car too, which eliminates the dreaded text from her saying a dash light is on and has no clue why. Lol

    • @campsitez2355
      @campsitez2355 5 років тому

      @@Rudderify nitrogen isn't hydraulic fluid. nitrogen compresses as does pretty much any other gas and listing the gas amount in pounds is irrelevant as it will be a negligible difference in overall weight.

    • @Rudderify
      @Rudderify 5 років тому +2

      campsite a dude, I know it’s a gas. I am a high school grad for heavens sakes. My point is nitrogen is a more stable GAS for tires ... ask any commercial A&P mechanic what they put in tires. Additionally, nitrogen is inert and doesn’t corrode like compressed O2 does.

    I dig Stacey, he knows cars and I dig Mopars and know all about Indy and the Mega Block. The engine is $15-20 thousand and the vehicle is about $50-100 thousand. I just don't see that kind of money. Ever.

      @@JamesAdams-yz2do no but he is like ... well we can't put ford or a chevy engine in it even though we have one right here thats already built...(like everyone has 3 fully built big blocks in their garage) and we can't put an old hemi in it because its too wide and a cummins is too long and this new one looks like crap and has a weak bottomend... I KNOW PUT A 440 IN IT... but its not a 440 its a custom CNC'd Block and Heads.. its not a mopar... its a jimmy.. because jimmy was running the CNC lathe that day... you know... i mean its a nice engine... but uhhh.. its not a ford its not a chevy its not a mopar... its a jimmy... anyway.. whatever

      I'm not a Mopar guy even though I like them I'm more of a ford guy but there is no engine today from anyone Ford or Chevy or Dodge that is the exact same engine as the old ones. I think that they are basically based on the architecture of the old ones but vastly improved in all ways. yes Mopar and Ford motors cost more to. build than a chevy but they have all been updated and made more reliable over the years. Most of our people racing at the drags these days are using newer crate or aftermarket engines.

    • @zippythechicken
      @zippythechicken 5 років тому

      @@mikeburks9641 that is completely different than buying a CNCd Block and Set Of Heads with custom specifications and then calling it a stock motor.. and yes you can still get 1960's gen heads and motors and cranks and whatever but that is not the point.. They have a custom built engine and they are calling it a Mopar Big Block... Its Just Not .. and thats fine and often its required if you want high horsepower engines .. but its not a big block mopar... .... If you don't understand the point i am making then I can't help you any more than I have already explained... have a nice day.

    • @mikeburks9641
      @mikeburks9641 5 років тому

      I didn't say it was a stock block, I said it probably had the same architecture as the old ones just like the 572 crate motors and the Ford Motorsports motors.
