Here I talk about 11 problems I feel in Kia Seltos, all the points are experienced by me myself after driving the car for more than 6500Kms. Hope you'll like the video :)

Bhai maruti ki gadiyo me sabse jyada hota hai. 2 mahine nahi hue hame ciaz liye, dikki ki taraf se kuch bajne ki awaj aati hai. Orr gane bajane pe poora doorpad vibrate hota hai noise ke sath

Arun Bhai...not sure if you are the only one facing this issue.I bought my Kia Seltos HTX in November...driven around 2500 kms...with two long trips to Goa...didnt face any of the issues you told about.The gogle holder is much better and I never heard any sound.As far as seat height is concerned,I am 5,8 and dont find any issues in seeing the bonnet.Everything is working perfectly fine.
I suggest you get your vehicle inspected at a service center.
5.8 taller can easily the Bonet. If you are around 5.6 or 5.5 or below, then you can't see the bonet

Things you can do to improve few negatives
1.Buy HID lamp and fog lamp to get good powerful light for night drive.
2.Do damping and buy blaupunk or jbl underseat woofer for good sound quality.
3.Buy alloy wheel to boost exterior looks.
4.Buy 10.25 inch hypersonic android infotainment system to improve interior looks and feel.

-ve of seltos according to me
1)Pick up of 1.5petrol Is low
2)No illumination on buttons
3)Vechile goes down when 3people seat in rear
4)our old etios has strong built quality then seltos
5)stiff suspension of 17" variants
+ve of seltos
1) great interior
2)Uvo connected tech
3)till today I not heard any noise from anywhere
4)my car won't vibrate even on full sound
5)For highway its beast 💪
Not happy with your review, looks like you are not happy with Seltos or your did not get the desired service/expectation from the dealer or service center. Few points from my side, I am a owner of Seltos as well and I am sharing my experience as per your points,
1. Head light is not that great, I agree but its not as bad as few premium brand cars which run on LED, my personal experience.
2. This is not an SUV, this is a crossover, your expectations are completely wrong. If you want a proper SUV go for XUV500, Fortuner, Thar, Endeavour. Also why would a co-passenger need seat height or would he need to see the bonnet? The driver of the vehicle should be comfortable driving the vehicle not the co-passenger or rear seat passengers, didn't get your view here... I mean what is the need. Ultimately all passengers should be comfortable in their seat that's what is more important.
3. I keep my ray ban aviator sun glasses in the sun glass holder, no sound at all even on bad roads, just that you have to keep it the way it should be kept, also might be there are some problem specific to your car and it might need some attention.
4. Seat sound is again specific to your car, I don't get that sound at all, get it checked with the service center. Also looks like you had removed the sets to got the seat cover done, so there are also possibilities that they have not tightened the nuts properly and it was good till you drove 5K kms and now it has got loose. If you have modified something outside then you can blame the manufacturer.
5. 100% agree with you on this, I have Bose speakers with woofer in my Seltos and if I increase the volume of the audio system to 50% then all doors would vibrate, this is something KIA should think about also this problem is there in Creta as well, so over all a design fault...
6. Seat adjustment feature is given from base variant which no other manufacturers do. this feature is given for a reason so that all kind of drivers can adjust to their preference, you keep it to lowest height or medium height and that does not suit you is not a mistake from the manufacturer, they have given you an option to increase the seat height more than what you did, so adjust according to your wish and enjoy. Again this is not a SUV....
7. Dust and car, you go to dusty place on any car, dust would surely accumulate, is this even a point? Don't tell me tomorrow that when you drive your car in rain and then there all lot of rain drops on your car... Come on man....
8. Again GREE 100% with you on the illuminated switches for power window. This is a major drawback buy again I upgraded from Maruti Suzuki Swift so I am used to this. But I still agree with you on this, they should have provided illuminated switches for power window...
9. Would not agree with you on this, I drove with 4 adults and a kid with full luggage in boot for almost 1000+ kms without any issues and without back of the car dropping down like hatchback. But as you said, 6-7 bandhe bhaite hain tub problem hoti hai... Bhai yeh car 5 seater ki car hai, isme aap 6-7 bandhe ko kaise bhita sakhe ho? gaadi ki permit hai 5 seater ki, haad hai yaar., har eek cheese ki haad hoti hai...
10. Yaar this is too much, have you not ever driven any car? Even hatchback has a rubber strip below the front bumper, this is there for a reason, and this reason is to caution the driver that the front bumper is about to touch the ground. Come yaar don't be so dumb and make such reviews. My 2006 Swift had a rubber strip below the front bumper to warn us, this is not something new, but guess you are new for this...
11. Agree with you on the NCAP rating, that is surely a draw back with Seltos. No comments on this.....
Also all said and done Seltos is not a SUV.. its a crossover you always compare this with SUV, don't do it. And most of the points you made are irrelevant don't make such dumb reviews and make a fool out of your self....

Bro, I am also owner of Seltos, but not facing issues like you do, driven around 4500 kms...with two long trips to Deoghar(near to Ranchi) and Banaras...didn't face any of the issues you told about. The google holder is much better and I never heard any sound. As far as seat height is concerned, I am 5,11 and don't find any issues in seeing the bonnet. Everything is working perfectly fine, may be you need to check with service center and they are the best in customer satisfaction/resolving issues.

You look for features loaded car only. N I suggest you to look for safe cars. Like instead of baleno go for altroz n seltos can be replace with xuv300 or Nexon. Magnite score more then seltos.
His 1st car was Hyundai santro xing 2nd alto k10 3rd Ritz and 4th baleno and now seltos and for your information starting 4 cars were gifted to arun by his father only seltos is that car that properly he owns and he buy this car from his own money 😊😊😊😊😊

Kia needs to work on these (especially simple things like providing better insulation in sunglass holder, better illumination in power windows) also better headlights please. Higher seating position, and removal of that thing below bumper would be added bonus. If they do it, then it'll be great.

seat height you should have checked while doing a test drive, and filling it up with 7 people and luggage is also your fault not the car's. Rest seemed valid points which you will only get to know after driving it for a long time.

Didn't you test drive before purchasing ?
I booked a seltos on 27th Jan and I was able to see the bonnet line. My height is 5'10". Can't say about other issues. How about creta the cousin that shares almost everything ? Pls share. I also have a 2019 creta 1.6 SX auto. Infact I can't see the bonnet line in that car !! I drive a little far from the dashboard with almost straight hands.

Seltos should focus on build quality as well and not alone on features. Problem ye hai ki 3-5 saal baad pata chalta hai jab gaadi se aur awaaz aane lagti hai.
Yes u r right.that is the reason I went for new creta. Also I found back seat thigh support is less in Seltos than creta in middle due to design. But Seltos 2021new iMT version has sunroof and lot of new features which is same price as creta S. So I guess again it will be more in demand.
Mahindra XUV 5oo is still very good SUV (Despite being so old in the segment) as compared to these cosmetic/ unreal suv....

In Xuv 300 you can see full bonnet, it feels definitely SUV
The seat noise is because of the seat cover that you put aftermarket. The point is when they removed your seat for the seat cover the orginal company nuts or the spring is loose. So put pasting type seat covers or put stitched seat covers from company
And vibration is not from the speaker, but from the bottle placed on the door pocket.
I was going to buy it's base model after watching this video i changed my opinion.

@@lightyork8268 if you own a sedan then it's quiet obvious to have low ground clearance. Which keeps car extremely stable and firm at high speeds apart no body roll too.. And regarding power its best in segment tsi are the best engines.

4th Negative creta mein bhi hai, but its easily solvable. Take your car to service station, remove the seat, there are clamps on two parallel rods get those clamps tightened.
As a Kia Seltos owner i must say that all the issues with ghe car are 100% true and genuine… Thank you Arun ji for making these issues known to everyone 🙏🏻

I think u pointed it rightly out...headlights of every so called SUVs suck!! And also after paying so much we dont get a 5 star rated car!!! Indian customers are provided with most under quality products from these foreign players in the name of cost cutting!! Better go for Maruti, Tata or Mahindra...and ye headlight ki effectiveness koi bhi so called Car Gurus batate nahi hain......
This proves that the safety rating is entirely dependent on the platform and chasis structure of a car .weight or heaviness does not play any role to the safety of a car.

और बोनट वाली परेशानी से तो मैं बहुत दुखी हूं यार मेरी तो लंबाई कुल। 5 फूट 5 इंच है ।।
उसके अलावा मुझे इसके सस्पेंशन बहुत कठोर लगे जो एक suv में ठीक नही लगते ।।

My Vehicle HTX IVT, the version shown in video is HTK+. Still I will put my points forward:
1. No issues in Headlights, enough brightness and throw. (mine is full LED, not halogen projector as shown in video)
2. Passenger Seat is not low, I am shorter than his height. why the hell the passenger needs to see the bonet properly? is it a truck where the cleaner guides the driver? although its totally visible.
3. Sunglass holder noise comes as shown in the video but if you put the sunglasses differently turn by turn you will get the non noise stage.
4. absolutely no noise from driving seat, I have checked keeping it high, low.
5. door vibrations with music bass, yes that's common issue in seltos and creta. door damping can solve it easily.
6. bonet is totally visible from the drivers seat, no blind spots.
7. if you are living in dirt prone zone its natural that it will fly in the air and glass is the first thing it will stick on.
8. power window switch illumination is a big issue agreed and endorsed.
9. I have 17" tyres with alloys and there's not any issue of ground clearance or after loading the vehicle with ppl or luggage. he is having 16" tyres with Rims.
10. front bumper under protection is there in every suv. it doesn't effect anything coz the approach angle of the vehicle is set according to that.
11. Global Ncap, well 3 stars is not at all a bad rating considering they have tasted with the base variant. the 1.25 lac+ seltos owners are neither fools nor dead so that's not a big issue.
