yeah, but the Oscars also gave like 11 awards to everything everywhere all at once which might be the most frustratingly bad movie I've ever seen. the Oscars has always been hit or miss but this last year it was just a dumpster fire. they're just a joke now. Brendan Fraser is very likable but he's not the greatest actor. I feel like they were giving him the award for the memes

Late 90's and early 00's had that period where it felt like media reached the peak of being able to say anything. I never would've thought I'd feel nostalgia for that time given that I hated the music and shows like Jackass, but modern films being so concerned about offending someone just grinds my gears.
