This is one of the best songs I've ever heard in my entire life. It just makes me stop whatever I'm doing and just dance. No other song has done that to me. I'm convinced it was written just for me!
To people asking about the lemon-- it's a shaker that looks like a lemon. But then again, maybe Jony has his own special methods. Either way, it works. This song is the best
We’ve also had Jonny on the xylophone, Colin on sleigh bells, Thom on maracas, Ed and Clive on tambourines, and Ed and Colin on what looks like a water bottle full of sand .. still waiting for them to bring out a triangle, castanets, and those wooden blocks you rub together
If I'm not mistaken, they first started using the lemon maraca when performing the song "Everything in It's Right Place," which contains the lyric, "Yesterday I woke up sucking a lemon." It could simply be coincidence, but I kind of doubt it. Johnny Greenwood also used it when performing "Reckoner" for the "In Rainbows - From the Basement" session. It always seems to be present when they perform
IMO Phil Selway is the Keith Richards of the drums. Doesn't play the flashiest stuff, doesn't go for subtle groove embellishments like Matt Cameron or Jimmy Chamberlin; his ethos is always "I'm gonna stick to this one groove for most of the song... so let's write a really, really, really cool groove."
when i said stupid i was reffering to 50CalibreBullet because he said this song isn't in any album, maybe he doesn't know "in rainbows", which is the new album.,and personally i think reckoner is the best song from the album.

looks like a lemon juice bottle conversion, lemon juice bottle probly held the song together
Michael Kaczkowski it's actually a lemon that Thom found himself sucking one day as he woke up. too easy of a joke?
Michael Kaczkowski you dont say
You can buy all kinds of shaky fruits but they are usually plastic. This one seems to be a serious, professional … lemon shaky thing.

i find it really had to believe this is live
What is he doing with his lemon ?
Ahahah.. Was it supposed to be "dancing with your pleasure."?
it's not a lemon it's a yellow orange
i think it's a shaker in the shape of a lemon...
Janine wants to know why a lemon.
Thom used to be so handsome...
Jéssica Brum Used to be? He IS beautiful
Makes no sense, they took down the best version of this song, and leave this crappy version that people probably aren't willing to buy... Stupid
The studio version is uploaded to their channel, though. Need a link?
