Might I suggest a miniature scratch all to poke a starting hole for the screws, worked like a charm for me.
I was quoted $250-$275 in just labor to replace my DS seat cover. I believe with your video I can do it myself. Great video!
Edit: I was able to do everything except clip the J clip on the top. I got new foam and even with a screwdriver couldn't get the clip to fasten. I was pulling so hard the seam was ripping on the J clip. I took it to a upholstery shop and they sewed up my J clip and it took 2 guys to fasten the clip. Best part they didn't charge me.
This video is so very good and exactly what I wanted! I already have the much needed new seat covers for my 2001 beauty, as well as the hog rings w/pliers, but was procrastinating on starting the job by using a trial-and-error approach so I went looking for a how-to and found this one. Gonna take it slowly, start with the passenger seat (no electronics) and have the video support with me along the way! Just waiting now for my drivers seat replacement foam which is coming in a few days. Thanks guys!!!

So you had good covers you took off carefully but honestly I’d cut a lot of the old stuff off.
Does anyone know if I could change my cloth seats to leather this way? Or are they somewhat different size and I would have to change the seat assembly itself? 2004 base model(non-GT).
The part number for the seat frames on Bullitt, Cobra, and GT are the same. Is it just a matter of switching out the foam and covers or are there additional parts required that I'm not seeing? I've got a GT but prefer the look of the Bullitt covers. Thanks.

Just to make sure we are making our selves clear, we do make all of our products in house to the OEM standards. We do not make anything custom we will only be able to make covers that fit your seats.
I have a 2002 GT Premium with 90k miles and the front seats leather, mostly driver side, need to be replaced. (kept outside in hot Texas sun). The one thing I noticed is that you don't have the Mustang logo on the back of the seat. I really want to replace that as well to keep it more authentic. Any suggestions?
Due to trademark laws, we're unable to embroider logos into products, this is the same for most companies in this business. However, what some of our customers have done is purchase our OEM- matched covers and take it to an upholstery shop where they can embroider it there. Otherwise, you're looking closer to a grand (at least) for the cover with the logo from the dealer. Let us know if you have any questions.
Why dont you offer fox and sn95 mustang seat covers? Or did you just slide that market segment to TMI?
Our niche is more on the Truck and SUV options, but we got a high enough demand for that year range Mustang to manufacture products for it.

Yes, it should work just fine since their foams are typically made to OEM standards.

You might have to try an upholstery shop for repairs or continue searching online. Worst case, you can contact the dealer directly.
prices are ridiculous!!!! 209$ for bottom driver seat cover only!! it would be around 800$ dollars to replace just front seats. better of getting corbuea or recaro seats!!!!!!
It's probably cheaper to just buy the seat from a junk yard.
You could, but you would still be buying a seat that has 14-17 years worth of wear and tear on it.
