No kidding, his channel is awesome for anyone who likes this game... Do you know if he’s using mods or a save game editor or anything, in order to get so many different looks? I feel like I’d have to spend some very minute of my spare time, for years, to get this many different characters set up and played through 🤷♂️
Just rebought the game recently. Hit level 100 today. You are super entertaining to watch love your play style/knowledge. Great work and awesome run regardless.
Thanks buddy. It was close to perfect. The Frost damage could've been nihil if I had the armor on. The Leapworms spawned late, and I should've been prepared for them, but completely forgot, as I typically do not enter the room from that perspective. Oh well, maybe MA can do it.
Nicely done. I've seen no damage challenges before but they were as ranger with blast arrows and armor that healed gradually. The game sneaks leapworms on you. Not your fault at all. With Frost Wyrms I am always thinking silence because the spam exeque and the like so fast that if you don't silence them your health can go from full to zero in a flash. No shame in missing that either. All in all I think you nailed it with this playthrough. It shows your loyal followers how much pawns hold you back too. When you do those pawn challenge vids you absorb more damage in one room than you did in this entire run.
Thanks Derek. It was close to perfect. I really should've been prepared for the leapwroms, just forgot. And I should've switched my armor for the Frostwyrms, but switching armor is just not a habit of mine. And yes, pawns do get us hurt. Solo has more control with aggro and expectations. I may give another go as Magic Archer, but again, I am not sure about Gazer with MA.
@@Nihil0.0 You did quite well. BBI is a very challenging area and you blew through most of the enemies easily. It was particularly funny watching the eliminators run themselves off the edges of cliffs. Lol MA makes the gazer a pushover, that is if you are OK with using HFB. That seems to knife through his health bar almost as fast as blast arrows.
aha, but I cannot get the Holy for HFB as MA. That would be ideal for Gazer, but otherwise, MA will suck against Gazer. Every arrow spell will lead him to do his Gaze attack, and meanwhile his testicles, I mean Tentacles will be ready for me. I could just avoid damage until his 3 Large arm Tentacles spawn, and knock him down with that method.... But I do feel dirty after that move. It's in my head currently. I am running through it. And I will go as MA tomorrow or maybe wait until Saturday. Another thing with MA that I concerned with is Frostwyrm Silence option is terrible as MA, I could kiss with Golden daggers or focused bolt with Golden staff, but that takes awhile. Fire Drake is no worry about damage when you have 6Fold, but man, that seems to take awhile still. edit - I only reply in this manner, because I know you, and I am hoping for some ideas that I may be missing :) And also, it's good to see you logged into steam again lately. If you need one, make Nilly a mage and I will gift you one. That could help as you can still go focused bolt. You'll need to upgrade it so fight a CD or the Dark Bishop to Dragonforge it and message me if you need upgrade items. When I run as an MA I am usually loaded down. I usually run with blackwing and rusted bows, strongest daggers I have plus heavens keys & sapfires and even kunai for the dark Bishop. I also run with golden, rusted and dominion claw staves. I like the idea of Volant White. I think I have one DF already. The upgrade mats are probably the usual Suring Light tome and Ruinous Relic. All of the Holy weapons are those. That's a good idea. See, I overlook things or don't look at the entire book. I tend to stuck in the minimalistic view and habits of things. I am still not sure about silence option. I suppose the Golden staff would be easier and with less risk, being at a range. I do have OCD with my carry weight at Blue. And I also hate needing to have sinew augment, but inevitably I think I will need to, just as I did with Strider, so I may as well carry a few things. That's really hard for me to say and accept though, I think you know this :) I think I shall go with Blackwing, Framae, Volant White, and Golden Staff. 6Fold, Rivet, and Ricochet. Rebalancer, Shackle, and either Sunflare or Reset. You know how important Reset is for me, but I typically only NEED reset for Climbing, and I aint going to be Climbing as MA. But still, I am concerned about Daimon second form. Probably mostly because I am in a habit of a different mindset. With this setup, I should destroy him, but I am still thinking of my usual way of playing MA, where I have less damage and less weapon options. The Volant White thing should be a game changer, but I may forget I have it :) idk, with 4x Rebalancers and 6Fold and Balckwing and 800 magic it will probably no worry. Lol those geo saurians are master magicians damn, that was pretty funny. Also I didn't know you could one shot wraiths with heaven's key brain splitter, always thought you need magic.
Yeah, that little doorway is easy to be safe with. Always sets them back to their spawn location. That 1 Geo Saurian was determined, but ultimately he was out of bounds and had to go back down stairs. Splitter with Enchanted is why I claim that Strider is the best to handle any situation. That one move is what separates Strider from anyone else. Strider can do physical damage for physical enemies, and can do Magic Damage for Magic enemies. Not every vocation can say that. Sorcerer struggles with Golems, Magic Archer can struggle with Golems, Mystic Knight can struggle with Dragons, Assassin struggles with Wraiths, Fighter struggles with Wraiths. Strider can handle anything with ease. And then Brain Splitter (tier 3) is very powerful. Too powerful. I would usually need 2 Skull Splitters per Wraith, but Brain Splitter is far past that.
I've been playing a lot of strider recently and I agree 100%. Other vocations may be more effective in certain situations, but strider is the most versatile and on top of that, quite op with Brain Splitter.
Brain Splitter is very OP. But every vocation has their own OP. Assassin's Masterful kill is OP. Magic Archer's Ricochet is OP, or 9Fold is OP. Fighter's maw is OP. It's to stay away from these OP things that I try. Some would say Arc of Oblit is OP, but no, I disagree, it requires 10 seconds to charge, and its' Warrior. I would say Warrior is allowed to have OP not be considered OP. I will soon make a rule for myself of no stacking of Magic Rebalancer for MA. I do have a personal problem with OP skills. I hate how powerful some of them can get, and I have declared that the level 3 skills are often the culprit. Just my taste personally, I will not dispute other's choices. I just don't like when I can kill things so quickly. I don't mind killing a goblin in 1 second, but I feel unachieved or empty when I can kill an Ogre in 1 second or Daimon in 10 seconds. I would like these fights to be memorable and worthy to fight, rather than just a quick kill and move on to the next quick kill. Sorry, I feel like I am preaching or selling a style. Just trying to encourage challenge and good fun, rather than quick OP kills. And I am sure that you feel the same as me, by our previous conversations.
yep. This game isn't really designed to be too difficult, instead we ourselves can make limitations etc. for our own challenge. It all comes down to preference I guess. Some people have fun being a god, or role-play, while others enjoy overcoming difficult battles. I too get bored if everything dies around 2-3 hits, so there are times I purposely use weaker gear and weapons to compensate. Though right now I'm more focused on finishing all story quests including the Arsmith item fetching ones, and then farming for certain items. Sounds like a chore but somehow I enjoy doing those haha.
A Chore, yes. I hate those quests :) But more power to you Fanchen. I also hate the escort quests, man I hate the escort quests. How are you doing with the SnakeSkin Purse for Arnsmith? That can be annoying, but the Sulpher Saurians near the river/ creak can drop it pretty easily. I do like the "kill this many of this" quests though. Like 40 Rabbits, I am ok with killing those damn Rabbits. With their little cute faces, and their little cure gestures. And anything to do with Selene, I enjoy visiting Selene.
You could use Hailstorm Valley(lvl 2 skill works too) on the Gazer and get rid of the tentacles. You'll need to aim towards his right, Middle, and Left. After that he'll start spawning the big tentacle, run under him and bait it then wrecks his ass.
I will try that. I intend to go another round as Strider later. Another thing that would've worked is to do the same method that I did, but wait just a couple of seconds, and climbed up a bit. When we attack him lower he is prone to bite sooner, while up higher, he has a longer window
That was something that I didn't like about Dogma Online. The game relies on gear over skill. I played it for 8 months and enjoyed alot of it, but yeah..... no skill needed, just the gear is what matters

Your Magic Archer is probably not broken, but what are your augments and what are your weapons? Notice how I did not ask what your stats are? That's because stats are never the problem.
Augments are super important. If you switch to Sorcerer and rank that vocation to Rank 9, you can unlock the Acuity augment, which boosts your total Magic damage by 20%. Mage has a similar augment at Rank 9, which boosts 10%, if you go solo (no pawns) Assassin has another 20% in the Autonomy augment. Having these boosts will help a ton. Your weapons sound good, and you can further upgrade them, after killing Dragons, you have the chance to Dragonforge the weapons, which increases their damage. After the dragonforging, you can further upgrade through Baroch in Bitter Black Isle, with providing him Materials and Rift Crystals. Get the augments and upgrade your weapons, and you will see a huge difference. You need an attack of about 1400 to go through BBI , and an attack of around 2200 for Daimon's second form and the Fire Drake in BBI. And also know your elements and who is weak to what. Below are some videos, if you have not seen them - ua-cam.com/video/7aBRDRqbax4/v-deo.html&t= ua-cam.com/video/hkzEvedGcJs/v-deo.html&t= ua-cam.com/video/4O5y6ZAzTZA/v-deo.html&t=
Someone should just do an interview where they ask you how to play this game. Get through some questions. 🤔 I already put probably 100+ hours in it on PS3 years ago, and kinda did some min maxing. But I got it on PC and don’t want to pour hours in again and be pissed that my pawn or char sucks bc of my leveling strat. Nor do I want to minmax unnecessarily. Thinking about this stuff is turning me autistic.

Get the augments and upgrade your weapons, and you will see a huge difference. You need an attack of about 1400 to go through BBI , and an attack of around 2200 for Daimon's second form and the Fire Drake in BBI.
And also know your elements and who is weak to what.

Stepping stone+Helm Splitter for life. I can't play the game any other way once I have discovered the combination
That is a very powerful combo. I love Climbing too much to get rid of Kisses and Reset though
Babysitting pawns and taking damage... well atleast its optional
Was this on hard mode?
Yep. You can always know by the exp gained per kill
Wtf you can actually kill him with his on spell
Someone should just do an interview where they ask you how to play this game. Get through some questions. 🤔 I already put probably 100+ hours in it on PS3 years ago, and kinda did some min maxing.
But I got it on PC and don’t want to pour hours in again and be pissed that my pawn or char sucks bc of my leveling strat. Nor do I want to minmax unnecessarily.
Thinking about this stuff is turning me autistic.
Min/maxing is useless. It's all about gear now.
*knocks barrel off* Fracture dart it is.
Damn buoyancy in video games
