Sajam is genuinely so good at explaining characters
He’s the best commentator. I thought he was fantastic out of the gates when he started years ago.
It's mainly cus he just tells you the important buttons like the meaty and the anti air and lays out the basic gameplan. It's important to not get overwhelmed when starting a character after all
Yeah you know a lot of people that make a character guide and they'll go over every single attack and every single special in detail and it's like 40 minutes long and the information that I really need is like scattered about in a total of 2 minutes or whatever. Granted there's a use for those guides as well and I appreciate people taking the time to make throw in-depth guides and sometimes I'll watch them if I've been playing a character for a while and I really just want the information.

6:54 Not that it matters at all, but this chatter annoyed me. What he said was perfectly valid. Why rely on the glitch when it's going to get patched. You can spend the time actually learning the charter. if it's "not that serious" then why do you care either way?

This is gonna help me so much when it comes to forming a gameplan with the character. He's got so many tools that all work together that it was a bit overwhelming at the start.

Bruh Rashid has sooo many different tools in this game it's hard to wrap my head around what all to use during a match. This does help me narrow things down a bit. Love his design overall tho. Im excited to see how Capcom does the next dlc characters

With the glitch gone I think Rashid is actually more balanced than I feared. He's good, but I doubt we'll be seeing 4 or 5 'Shids in top 8

I think h mixer hasnt air invulnerability, just got a godlike hitbox

I would like to point out that while the meaty fireball stuff seems pretty strong in the corner, there's no reason people aren't going to just slam ex dp or supers on reaction against it, although it being a projectile means they need lvl 2 instead of lvl 1. Like good players aren't just gonna sit there and watch you charge it up on oki for 30 frames and not kill you for it. Maybe you can cancel it to lvl 3 on reaction to the flash if they super you?
You're not wrong, but there are characters who don't have reversals, so you could do this while they don't have super meter, or to characters that do have reversals, but are in burnout.
@@Demonstormlord Yeah for sure. Just it's not a good default because usually a character has an ex reversal (i mean like 80% of the cast does) and isn't in burnout or has lvl 2 at least.
I'm playing him without using any of the fancy air stuff tbh, that's too hard. For my Plat ass it is working 😁

Correct me if I am wrong. Can’t you just wake up parry or bust out super rashid when he attempts to use the glitch? You can probably just get hit which sucks too. Guess you only go for it when the opponent is burnt out.

If you hit someone while they're stunned, they get all their drive gauge back as soon as the combo is over
I started playing rashid at the exact same time as sajam yet he's shown an understanding of his mechanics far beyond mine in half the time it took me to do his combo trials.
For how Capcom have hit almost every single mark with SF6, having this new patch a week before EVO seriously feels like a decision made in such poor taste.
Have to keep in mind you are in an extremely niche group.
Evo has 7000 entries for SF, this game has sold 2,000,000 copies. I unferstand it feels in extreme poor taste, but this is such an absurdly small population it will affect
@@ledgy69 very odd take tbh. All they had to do was say that Rashid is not tournament legal for EVO, and that’s it.
Out of the casual audience, how many people actually care about doing light buffers into Drive Rush? I’m gonna guess that 99% of players weren’t doing that at all. You think it’s gonna kill the casual audience to wait one more week for a patch?
Moreover, you don’t think it’s smart for a company to not do things that are stressful to their most dedicated player base? The ones that are still gonna be playing this game in 5 years?

I can't believe all Capcom needed to do to make Air Man truly unbeatable was to make him a hot Arabic guy (again). Such innovation.
Jokes aside, the fact that he can cross the screen so quickly at times via the charged whirlwind honeetly feels more screwed up than the current Ysaar bug since at least the Ysaar bug will get patched out unlike the pseudo-teleports. I can't help but roll my eyes at all the (S) tier talk, but that aspect of him does seem legitimately worrisome even with the need for a bit of set-up given all the other stuff he already has. Thank gods that the air double jump seems worse raw than I thought it would be and that Capcm held back on giving him a freely available dive kick.
How many plus on blocks does this character need? He has a low risk high reward type of play style sheesh pay to win

there's no way you can tell how strong a character is from seeing them for 5 min. there isn't a single character in this game as strong as the top tiers in sf5. the early opinion is that he's good but not crazy but unless a character is obviously busted there's no way to really know yet
@@QGfk1 You can make an educated guess based on the amount of tools and options available to him. Projectile zoning game. Anti projectile moves. Tricky movement. Can change jump arch. Invincible reversal. Can bypass neutral from full screen. Plus frames. Long reaching normals. Wall jump. Mixup potential. Good drive rush. If he ends up as anything other than top 3 I would be incredibly surprised.
