Latest community patch (Gothic Universe Patch) fixes the stuttering. Fluid 60 fps everywhere now, with very minor stuttering after loading a game or teleporting to a new area after hours of playing.
When you install the content mod, it asks you about your choices in Gothic 2. If you say that you were a mercenary it gives you a dragon armor. I played as a mage.

Gothic 3 and FG in vanilla versions can’t be played at all in my opinion. They are extremely buggy and also not lore friendly with the previous games (they changed all the armors for the worst!) Also in Gothic 3 vanilla and FG no npc wears a helmet! No horses in a very very big world map was disappointing this time. The only way to play a decent lore friendly Gothic 3 is to download three essential mods: 1) Community Patch 1.75 2) Quest Pack 4.2 3) Content Mod 3.1 The story of Gothic 3 is however pretty okay, Innos Ending was the best imo and ends the trilogy in a good way. The expansion Forsaken Gods is hilariously bad and buggy, the story is garbage trash and doesn’t make sense. Also now officially both Forsaken Gods and Arcania have been declared ‘Non Canon’. So now the saga ends with Gothic 3.
Even then its not lore friendly, just the design of Myrtana doesnt fit architecture we seen on Khorinis, no names from Khorinis tombstones fit, Lees storylines and behaviour of our companions are all inconsistent with G1 and II among many other issues biggest of which are Orks themselves. Gothic 3 just needs a complete remake from ground up following GII artstyle and lore fully while G1 and GII get remastered to hype the remake up.
@@Kacpa2 I agree completely. I’m trying to do my best on my channel to fix Gothic 3 into a movie series with expanded lore and story. But a remake would be the best option to fix this mess
Gothic is without any doubt my favourite videogame series of all time, i played all the chapters, finishing them at least five times, except for FG that i completed twice. Maybe one day i'll try Arcania too....maybe. My head say that the best chapter of the series is Gothic II (with The Night of the Raven, of course), but my heart will always tell that my favourite game is the first Gothic. G3 it's a pretty good game, if and only if played with it's Community Patch, but still it's unpolished and unfinished, clearly far from that Gothic 3 planned by developers if Jowood didn't forced Pirhana Bytes to release it way earlier than the actual release date. I'm wondering when it will be released the Community Story Project patch, hoping that it will turn G3 into a more lore friendly game.

the magicsystem of gothic 3 is pretty crap.... u can use one spell during the whole game without any variations. and btw forsaken gods is not a real gothic, its not from piranha bytes
And you can also beat the game using a stick and no gear. That's true for a ton of other games. Just because you can do it doesn't mean you should. Using more spells makes the whole experience more pleasant. If anything, the fact that you can roleplay and go about it in a diverse way of your choosing, without the game forcing anything on you, is a good thing.

Hmm i did find the dragon hunter armor instead of the robe u found hmmm ?? what changes wich kind of armor spawns to hank body ?
