They couldn't afford to have a child, both were very poor. Mileva went home to gave the birth to the child and signed the adaptation for the unknown customer before the child was born. If this happened in Mileva hometown Petervar, the town close to Novi Sad (today) or somewhere else we don't know, not even if the child was a boy or a girl.
