That was good to see how the XR performs off road.
Great riding! The bike is a definitely out of it's element (specially with those tires), but that was thoroughly enjoyable to watch.

4 cylinder XR more heavier than boxer GS... although the XR looks smaller than GS, but GS more agility to doing offroad with that boxer twins.

Yes he liked it very much , he says it's a very capable motorcycle for all around riding , both street and adventure riding ; however, you have to be a little bit more of an experienced rider to ride the XR well offroad.
No entendí nada de nada, pero fue muy ilustrativo ver lo que se puede logros hacer con una { casi deportiva}, pero el vídeo es muy bueno.

i bought the s1000xr ..... .The s1000xr is equiped with all new Continental optimized braking curve system (first bike to have it).It sucks.The Motorcycle Integrated Brake system receives data from sensors which indicate the speed of both wheels, the roll and pitch rates and lateral acceleration, so the specialized onboard computer can determine the exact position of the bike. With 100 readings and calculations per second, the system knows exactly what’s happening with the bike’s stability factor in each moment and makes the necessary revisions .The result is that the system knows how to modify the brake pressure applied by the driver at the deployment at the beginning of braking, .Thus the differnet brake feeling in diffrent speed lean an angles ......boy s1000xr brake system sucks.
PS:I am owner and quick shift also needed re-callibration every 2000 miles with rare use.
DONT go for the s1000(X)r except if you want electronics to drive for you

Pointless test, it's not an off road bike or even dual sport in anyway ... Pure road bike and a very good one at that .
Antreas zeusson it has 17 inch front wheel, with pure road tyres on, absolutely not an off road bike, why don't you call into BMW and ask them for yourself . The KTM adventures have a 19inch front wheel, same as a GS .... you don't know what your talking about my friend.

Antreas zeusson you've not got a clue have you, of course it matters, the KTM and GS are dual sport, the dorsoduro isn't an off road bike, why do you think dirt bikes have a 21 inch front wheel?? The gs and KTM adventures compromise with a 19 inch, and KTM do the R model with a 21 inch front... go and learn about bikes "bro" before chopping off on UA-cam to guys who actually own and ride these things ... check my vids out "bro"
As someone who owns pure Road bikes... Good luck even riding in this terrain at all..
S1000XR does what it needs too... A good all rounder in every aspect... Not great at touring, not great as a sport bike, and not great as an ADV bike, BUT it does all of them reasonably enough.
@@Texarmageddon plus it has road tyres,you can always swap em with on off tires....then it would easily do simple off roading when other sport tourers(kawasaki z1000sx comes to mind)can barely drive on gravel roads

Με αυτό που κάνατε δεν μας δείξατε ένα χωμάτινο μηχανάκι αυτά τα κάνεις και με ένα σκούτερ. Η μηχανή είναι μια ψιλή σούπερ σπορ και δεν έχει ούτε μια σχέση με μια adventure bike σε τίποτα. 1 2 3 ταχύτητα μακριές 4 5 6 κοντές στα 140 χλμ έχει 6000πλας χιλιάδες στροφές ούτε ταξιδιάρικο δεν είναι. Είναι μια σούπερ σπορ μηχανή και τίποτα άλλο
