Charlie is genuinely happy for Jon! That's what you call a good friend. Jon Cryer deserved to win!! Without the character Alan, the show would not be funny.

honestly, this guy is a genius. when i first starting watching two and a half men, Charlie was the guy who made me laugh, and he still does. But watching it more and more, Jon's use of sarcasm is just hilarious. It reminds me of Matthew Perry's sarcasm in Friends. It grew on me and i think he deserved this award.
He's an amazing actor but I think the show's inconsistent writing never let the character "Dwight" enjoy the acting prowess that Mr. Wilson was throwing behind it. Dwight is shown as mildly dimwitted yet somehow a sales genius and a competent employee. I can't imagine how Wilson must've juggled portraying these two character traits simultaneously. He definitely deserved the award but the writing let him down.
What I love about Charlie and Jon is that they have been close for a long time. They don't put up a wall between the public and their own lives. They don't put on a act in reality. They are always themselves and you can see how down to earth they are just by watching this video. I even bet that all of the actors for Two and a half men probably hang out on AND off the set just like a family.

@@thechosenone1533 how chuck Lorre was the problem? Charlie himself was the problem and he also admitted that him being drug addict. He became arrogant drug and sex addict who ended up having HIV. He, himself admitted that after getting diagnosed with HIV, he became depressed and his drug addiction got worse.
@@afonsodeportugal I think all the season were really good except last two episodes. They could have just ended with Alan and Walden's character getting settled with their respective partners but they chose to bring back Charlie suddenly out of nowhere.

It's sad that people compare Charlie's character with Walden because they're completely different character. Charlie is more cocky, reserved and carefree character while Walden is more loving, emotional, goofy and little bit vulnerable character. Both are great in their own way. But for me Jon Cryer as Alan Harpers steal the show. 😁 He was good before Charlie left the show but he's character becomes even better after Charlie leaves the show. Ending might disappoint you but up until then it is damn funny.

The audience didn't really react in a great way did they.... I expected more claps and applause, but.... Anyway great job Johnny boy!! Charlie is a really nice guy, you can really see the joy in his face when John won.... Not exaclty strange, they've been working together for years and even on movies.
they were so differnt back in the 80's its amazing how they eventually ended up making a comedy together...Charlie was a bad ass jock in all his movies, and Jon was a drama club kid in a sense, and also a kid from the slums also
