I agree that being introduced to different cultures really affects you positively
it helps you understand people better and where they come from
but you don't have to go to different countries to understand/learn that
my parents did not travel much, but they made sure I was made aware of all different races/cultures by meeting people and shit

Kinda curious myself. My family are religious vegetarians which I'm fine with personally.
Because vegetarians still eat animal made products just not meat and vegans eat nothing made or "stolen" from an animal.

Not 3 minutes in and we’re back to shit. I love this podcast
I work at Walmart as a cashier. And I can DEFINITELY confirm what Dooo said at 26:58 about the amount of theft that goes on there. We, about a year or so ago, had to get and set up locks on different displays of certain high-traffic items (cosmetic items being one major one) that could only be unlocked by a magnet key because people were either opening them up and trying them on and then putting them back and not getting them, or they were just flat-out stealing them.

16:00 About making your kid play guitar - My 6 year old son is playing guitar now thanks to Rocksmith. You can also get something called a guitarlele, (a 6 string ukelele) and it's awesome for them to play on. My kid is doing chords and pentatonic scales on it. But it has to be like a toy.
