One of my favorite appearances by the beautiful and super talented Petula Clark!
Wonderful to see Petula sing with Tony Hatch on piano ,and Esther was a great interviewer and wonderful to see the late BBC producer Yvonne Littlewood who worked on so many TV shows with Petula not only in the U.K. but in tow of her American specials too .Well done to the BBC researchers too to really cover her whole career up to 1998
What a great interview with Petula one of the best. Sad that Yvonne Littlewood has recently died she obviously had a great admiration for Petula as did Tony Hatch.
Absolutely great interview & performance. Daughter Kate is lovely & to have Petula perform with Tony Hatch at the piano made a very intimate setting with two great artists.

This was one of the best interviews with Pet Clark. Would love to hear more about her recording sessions and why she chose the songs she recorded, aside from her Hatch-Trent recordings. The e book about Chips Moman has some great insight into her Nashville and Memphis sessions.

Sadly Yvonne Littlewood, Petula Clark's BBC Producer, who recalled working with Petula in this programme, died on 7th July 2023, at the wonderful age of 96.
