How To Successfully Grow Bare Root Strawberries-Strawberry Tower, Container Planting

In this video we will be planting bare root strawberries in some Smart Spring Mr Stacky pots. I am not affiliated with Mr Stacky, I just use them. A big key to successfully growing strawberries from bare roots is to get them from a reputable source and plant them early in the springtime! If you are buying roots from a big box store, don't wait, get them as soon as they are available, and get them planted. Bare roots can dry out fast.

Love this video, thank you. 😊 First one I've seen with great idea to spread your middle planting space wider for roots. Makes sense, I planted bare root strawberries for first time this year & trying to keep roots straight & hold back soil falling in my burying hole was funny. This is perfect timing, I am planting bare root strawberries for the first time this year and I'm using a tower exactly like this one except only three tiers tall. I am going to try the Ozark variety once the company I buy from gets them in stock. For some reason Stark Brothers doesn't ship strawberries to my state, but I do love them, they are a great company and I have purchased a few trees from them before.
