Dewalt DCF892 Impact Wrench 1 Year Review - DCF891 - 18V

TLDR: One of the best power tools I have ever owned. Never failed to crack loose an overtightened lug nut etc. Good speed control. Very compact size considering the extreme torque that this particular model produces.

Generic batteries are not only extremely dangerous since it's li-ion, they almost certainly don't provide same amount of current that genuine batteries do, so you actually lose torque.

Is it good for changing pickup truck tires ?

Yes, I believe it would work fine for that.

It has roughly the same amount of torque as their previous top tier DCF899. Granted you use genuine battery that is at least 5Ah.
Although 6Ah normal or 5Ah PowerStack give the absolute best performance you can get out of this tool. So while pricey, they definitely worth it if you serious about it.
