They already were, though? Each country has a unique style -- or rather, actual piece of equipment that they're based on, for both the foot soldiers and vehicles. The only exception to this are the Black Hole units (Neotank, Black Bomb, Black Boat).
Each nation have unique designs of unit
Green Earth Fighter are A-10 Thunderbolt
Orange Star Fighter are F35 jet fighter
Yellow Comet fighter are world war propeller fighter
@nono-bf8cv no I mean the animations, it would be real easy to just have them do the same little dance, but they all have really different personalities in their moves
Actually orange star use F-15 because the F-35 didnt really exist in the esrly 2000's

That's a pretty accurate representation of how missiles play in the games.
You buy it, it hangs around for a bit, and gets one-shot by an air unit before it gets a chance to fire once.
Unless ofc, you’re Grit. Then the air becomes a no fly zone lol

@@zeronos2844 Funny thing was that Grit in AW1 was rather mid tier since he was only useful if the map has choke points that Tanks or Recon didn't reach his artilleries. His capture game was ASS because of that -20% to all of his units including Infantries and Mechs. AW2 was when all of the Grit complaints being OP came from. No more weak infantries made his capture strong as hell with his indirects support.
@@zeronos2844 no, what happened was that the meta completely changed in Dual Strike. That and the Black Bomb exists.

I like to think that every seasoned fog of war player in AW has at least tried once to lock down an remote enemy airport by having Missile-chan slowly rave in range of it. Knowing it's most likely not actually worth the time and effort, but nonetheless being determined to help Missile-chan in her quest of finally shooting down two enemies in a single match.

Also, I think that the missile units at the end are doing traditional dances from the countries they represent, such as the blue moon girl doing Russian Kick dancing!
This is why you don't daydream on the job and why you always keep n APC to resupply missile girl. Plus AA guns which can tear a new one into infantry units.

The Poor Blackhole Missle is left out of the party and can only really party with her sisters due to Black Hole being...well, Black Hole.
Missile-Chan has situational use, but when said situation calls for her, we can appreciate her. ^u^

An air unit they can't oneshot.
An air unit that can look at missile coverage, shrug, and take the shot.

I dont know, my subscribers and the algorithm refuse to support videos like this, I do this at a lost of income mainly and have to rely on patreon support or youtube membership to do videos that can never get the views. also doing more of these videos prolong the process of damaging my channel's algorithm outreach/ thus in the long run, my channel is screwed by content like this.

An Advance Wars style tactical warfare game mixed with the mecha-waifu genre was something I was unaware I was missing in my life. These two genres were made for each other.
Missiles would be good if they could shoot and move in the same turn. For now I’m just going to spam AA from one of my bases.
