Just got my Smart Controller after the long awaited out of stock period. This is the perfect tutorial I was looking for as I have multiple drones in this MAVIC series. Thanks for the lesson. Great job on the step by step and screen visuals as well
I have two drones that I want to fly with the smart controller but I also want to fly them in their own RC every now and again. Do I need to delink the controllers to switch between controllers?
Am I correct in assuming you do not need both aircraft running in order to change them? In other words if I’m out on assignment with the aircraft not linked to the remote the process will work or do I need to set up before I go?
FLIGHT GALLERY , the aircraft you are switching to needs to be powered on. For instance, if you have Mavic 2 Zoom currently connected and you want to switch to a Mavic 2 Enterprise, the Mavic 2 Enterprise needs to be powered up.
@@DroneWorkspro It is not clear to me. I have the M2 Pro and M2 Zoom. Suppose I have connected the Zoom to the SC, powered both off and leave them in a bag. In a week I will fly with my M2 Pro. So, what to do? Powered both the Zoom and M2 Pro and switch it in Aircraft Management or is it sufficient to switch on the M2 pro without switching on the M2 Zoom? Thanks.
Ok, I see what is happening. With both drones powered on and each already on the smart controller, you can easily switch from one to the other this way. However this won't work if one of them is turned off, or both are off. In these cases, you must relink each device when switching between them. Doesent seem to be a way for the controller to "remember" each of them; you have to relink....
I have factory defaulted and reloaded all the software in an attempt to get the Smart Controller to "remember" both my drones...Mavic 2 Zoom and Mavic Air 2. No matter what I do, each time I switch from one drone to the other in aircraft management, it asks me to re-link the drone each time. It's a bit annoying as you would think that it would "remember" the linking connection of each of these two drones and connect without the need to push the relinking button on the Zoom or press the power button for four seconds on the Air. If anyone can tell me how to do this, it would be much appreciated. But some of what is in this video is dead wrong
Great video...EXACTLY what i was looking for. Fly safe...
Great setup tips. Thorough and the step by step screens were helpful.
Excellent thanks
Does the DJI RC - Remote Controller would work also on this mavic 2 pro?

We have had smart remotes in stock for months....

Same problem here, Mavic 2 Pro & Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced.
