This was my first Glastonbury. I'm 60!! Seeing the dragonfly was a hairs on the neck tingling sensation. I also served in the Falklands at 17... so it was an emotional moment. Well done Arcadia
My first Glastonbury and being a part of this was my absolute highlight, especially now hearing about the incredible creative process behind it. Eric Prydz live here on the Saturday night will stay with me for a long time. A spark from one of the flame throwers actually caught fire on my jacket as I was dancing next to it and I still had one of the best nights of my life. 😂 Thanks to those that made it possible and those that raved away here all weekend!
for me personally Arcadia is a whole new level most stages can imitate but just does not even come close too, its not just a audio experience its a audio and visual experience and that fact not just the spider was amazing they have taken it another step and just wooow, lost for words
When I first saw this on the Wednesday at Glasto I was disappointed it wasn’t the spider, but once I saw Fat Boy Slim open and saw it in all of its glory it really was a spectacle. What an amazing piece of engineering, a true audio and visual climax. The L’acoustic rig was sublime to
This was my first Glastonbury experience and being lucky enough to get a ticket i had the pleasure to see ki ki play at arcadia this was one of the BEST experiences of my life apart from watching my children being born, words cannot describe the feeling and energy ❤❤❤ to EVERYONE involved in building this experience for me to see. i thank each and everyone that worked hard for us all to injoy, absolute amazing guys thank you so much i will cherish the memories for ever xx
Goosebumps watching back the Fatboy Slim performance! Arcadia did gobsmackingly well with the dragonfly. The guys were testing it out on the Thursday and must have spent 30 mins standing there admiring it. Definitely won’t forget that any thing soon. Thank you!
Congrats guys, it’s been an honour crossing your paths over the years and this is an absolute triumph! Felt so good standing below it thinking they’ve fucking done it!! ❤ sending my love to eh Arcadia family!
So what is or has happened to Dragonfly now. will it go anywhere else? Blackpool Illuminations??? (please) Imagine that at the tower headland on switch on night on August 30th 2024. (Plants seed into Arcadia's head)
I’m not being disrespectful to them at all honesty but when I looked at the line up for this stage this year, the aboriginal collective had an hour or more I believe every night as a “ceremony”, and I Really don’t understand the aboriginal inspiration for this stage collaboration or understand why it has anything to do with Glastonbury or especially what it has to do with their main dance stage? they could have been put on any of the hundreds of other stages and It feels like the organisers could have had a much better line up of djs for such a big opening rather than a cop out in my opinion of having these ceremonies each night…

You are mistaken. It was a 10 minute slot Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
@@mala_____ ahhh okay that’s not so bad I thought it was a full hour each day 😂😂
I'm dissapointed in Fatboy playing the same old set he's been playing for over 10 years. Stealing a living.
